Poems to heal my broken heart

Hey tell me what you think there are 5 they are all for the girl who broke my heart. I wrote these when we were still together now i publish them to the world mabye try to make it that much better. I seal these poems with tears and regret of memories of the time we spent. Takling all night on the phone just hearing your voice was enough alone. Weeks turned to months and months to years and now its over and im shedding tears. Why did you do this why now? When i need you the most. So for this i tell to all those lovers. Cherish your time s, spend it well with others. Because all those little i love yous that you took so for granate will never be heard again. And after that all you really need is a friend. Someone to tell you its alright a shoulder to cry on in the night. The words you told me are still running threw my head now as i lay here in my bed. You told me you loved me i thought it was true. But i kept my promises at least the ones that mattered. Sometimes i wasent there but thats not what matters. I loved you and i hope someday you can say the very same. And if it takes longer than my life just know you were the one i wanted you to me my wife. my first true love you took my heart but you say we must depart. And if i die before you go ill wait in heaven for the one i truely loved. I just dont think you will ever know how much i loved you so......


Okay that right there i just now wrote i wasent even planning on writing that just feelings came out and i wrote it out. Wow that was awesome. I think i like this one better than the one i was going to post. So go rate that it took me 3 mins but its very strong. At least i think it is tell me what you think. Thanks in advance!

OKay heres the other 5 poems i said i had earlier. The ones i wrote when we were still together.

1.) It's all the time I wish you were here. To help me with my fears. I want to see that big smile. Even tho id have to wait awhile. You would be worth the miles. I gaze at the stars all night. Where I feel you hold me tight. I'd listen to you all day. If you had any problems I'd be with you all the way. Theres not a day that goes by I dont hink of you. Even those times when im feeling blue. I cant wait for the day when were finally together. And hopefully we can last foever.

2.) I wish I could. Go on a drive with you in our car. and we could hold each other. lying under the stars. And that we could talk about. just almost everything. and tell each other about our lives. about the places we have been. hold each others hands. your fingers in mine. and close your eye's softly. so I could watch your face so kind. that i could listen. to your precious sweet words. and listen to every sweet melody. in your voice like a singing bird. and kiss your soft warm lips. in a gentle but tight embrace. then we could. Get lost out there somewhere. and we would be happy with each other. and leave behind our cares.

3.)Float into reality. the way the real world should be. us together as one. just you and me. and hope to stay that way forever. im loving you and your loving me. me nad you forever baby. as we become what we should be.

4.)Oceans, mountains, seas and trees away. Provinces, continents, cities and countries. yeah, its far but it wont stay that way. I couldnt live a forever without you by me. Ones heart seems to travel millions of miles. Just to reach anothers. just to feel that bliss. to do anything to make one laugh and smile. until presence takes place with a hug and a kiss. hopefully, in youe heart I may forever reside. till i may stand there by you, hand and hand. with a love that pounds and beat in oue eyes. one not to ever break or bend, but always stand. I do wish so silently with each passing day. that life will not always contain this distance. for that would be worth than death, easy to say. I needed you the day we spoke and everyday since.

5.) A life without you. just would not be life at all. if you were not here by my side at least mentally. I wouldn't make it. I would stumble and I'd fall. Seems that I so badly need to have you with me. Ah, distance stops us from holding each other. But it does not stop my heart from loving you. It stops me from whispering to you. my lover, but it could never stop this love that is so true.

6.)Even though I am thousands of miles away. Your innocent face in my heart prevails every day. It's so sad that the cruelty of distance keeps us apart. but that's not something that can keep you away from my heart. Honestly, you captured me since the day we first met. The happiest day of my entire life I will never forget. You are the only one who can leave me speechleess. The one and only that can provide me all this happiness. I like you always but I love you forever. I just wait for the day we hold hands together. If you ever stop loving me I wouldn't be right. My life would would be incomplete. Each day would turn into right. I just want you to know that you do so much for me. that's why i give you my love unconditionally. we are meant to be and if you feel the same. I'd want nothing more than for you to share my last name. baby, i will love until the day i die. please, understand and believe this is not a lie. i promise the love i feel for you will stay the same. as i love you in life i will love you in death forever and ever....

Those are very nice poems. Please do not give them to her. Trust me. Do not give them to her. I repeat. Do not.. well, you get my drift. But what happened buddy? In your Sept 20th thread I thought you said you had snapped back to your old self? You need to get over her. Stop dwelling on her. She is now in your past. Keep yourself occupied with family, friends and fun. Read a book. Concentrate on your schoolwork which is far more important for your future than she is. That is a certainty. So to be quite frank with you and in case no one has said it to you already: Get yer head out of your rump and start breathing fresh air! Does all this dwelling and self loathing make you feel good or bad? I know for a fact (yes, I have been in your shoes. A broken heart is no stranger to me so listen up!) that it is doing nothing positive for your mental state so stop it. And has she come back? No. Does she even know what you are putting yourself through. No. Is she continuing her life? Yes. And so should you! What's done is done so put away the past. A new dawn awaits you. OK!

Don't dispair. I know that when you're a teenager and something like that happens, it seems like the end of the world. Believe me, it's far from it. I'm 41 years old (my son is one year older than you!), have been married for 20 years now and know what I'm talking about, so it would be wise of you to listen to me. You need to make sure that you have a good grasp on your own life and realize that whether you have someone with you or not, doesn't reflect on you as a person. You are as important and valuable without someone. You do not want to become codependant. You do not NEED someone always. Loneliness is one thing, but you can fulfill that need with family and friends just as well. You don't NEED a girl.

You're so young. Grieve the loss (which means being sad that it's over, but admitting it is done and moving on) and then move on with the rest of life. There is so much more to discover. Get good grades because your education is very important, be good to your parents, be a loyal friend, be honest as the day is long and serve others more than yourself. You won't go wrong.

Tomorrow is a brand new day with brand new things to do. Life is definately going to be what you make it.

This is all good advice everyone has given you. Learn from your time you spent with her. Cherish the good things you both did and let go of the negative. That will only bring you down. I myself am going through a little love hardship right now and it hurts alot, but I have things I need to do and get done. She is my best friend and we both have a crush on each other. I was hoping to be able to go on more dates and maybe further our relationship, but as fate would have it she now has to move to Seattle when she was going to move to Valencia. We both are trying to get on our own feet and this is just one of those road bumps life threw at us (mostly to her). I feel like dying inside cause she opened something inside of me I never new existed. But like I said, I have things I need to do to get on my feet and so does she. I will be taking all that I have learned from her and about myself through her to further my life. As the saying goes "It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all". My best to you and as Monty Python sang "Always look on the bright side of life".

Disclaimer: The following are my opinions, and anything ( event, situation, etc.) that I describe or explain, in anyway, shape, or form, sounds like anyone else's life.......it proves that we all have been there & done that (and survived). Now allow me to throw in my 2 cents worth.
In our house, we just went through the oldest daughter and first boyfriend breakup. Her depression was almost intolerable. Five weeks go by, and she comes home from classes ( freshman @ San Jose State Univ.), & tell us about getting a C+ on an exam ( she was down about that ), followed by, "I sat next to this guy I knew in High School......he's good looking now..........were going out tonight !". Mixed emotions for us, but she got over what she "knew !!!" she never could. FYI, she & her ex-boyfriend went out for +/- 18 months.
There is not just hope for you, there is a whole life ahead. When I met my wife, I was not interested in finding anyone ( read divorce here ). Without going into the details, let me just say that our 24th. aniversary will be next month ! Someone will come along for you, open your mind, open your eyes and enjoy life now. Trust all of us when we say, "Don't let yourself get mired down in self depression." Get some friends together, & go to Disneyland. You never know who might sit next to you !

Guys i read all your responses. Yes im serverly depressed but i dont show it. Its killing me on the inside. I read all your responses guys they all mean alot to me more than you know. And DisneyResurrection its too late i gave them to her when we were going out. She said that she loved them. Funny how its so easy to write about someone when they really mean that much to you. I cant believe i just cried. Im a 15 year old male and i cried. God i havent cried since i was like 7. It doesnt help that i just got a e-mail from her saying that she was sorry for leading me on but that she never loved me and she realizes how strong the word love is now. Im really depressed. I want ot get over her and part of me thinks that she will come back. I want to go with the part to get over her but my heart wont let me. And to Retlaw let me say congrats on finding that special one! Happy Early 24th. Anniversery! My ex from 2 relationships ago is going threw tha samething and we are comferting eachother right now. Her boyfriend and her had to break up because the boyfriend was moving to hawaii. I going to Disneyland November 11th 2005! With two friends and i cant wait. Good times to come and i know when i go to Disneyland i will forget all those feelings. Heck maybe by then ill fancy a new person. Not rushing anything, im just saying. ^ Giving poems to a girlfriend you are going out with is fine. I thought you just wrote them though that's why I didn't want you to give them to her, so it's cool.

Why is she sending you emails telling you this for? All she is doing is trying to relieve herself of the guilt of leading you on. She actually said she was leading you on? Isn't that reason enough to see what kind of person she is? Stop seeing her through rose colored glasses. If that is what she knows she was doing all along then she isn't worth it. Plus, you need to be ready for the fact that she will have another boyfriend some time in the future. She has every right to be with a new boyfriend too, just like you have the right to be with a new girlfriend, so forget her. If she says hi, say hi nicely and keep on walking, just like you would say hi to anyone. Don't play all pouty and sad and depressed. That will only make her happy as it will enforce her ego that she is a person who affects people. It's a little twisted but that's the way it is. If she keeps emailing you with these unfriendly messages, and that is what they are, tell her to not bother filling up your email as it only has a certain amount of room. If it pisses her off then good, if not, who cares. Are the the emails what you want to read? Negative crap! No. So just keep smiling and know that this was for the best. You have just grown up quite a bit. Welcome to the club.

wow disneyresurrection i never thought of it like that. Dude your so right. Im moving on right now. I dont need her. She just doesnt care anymore or as her e-mail says she never did! The sad thing is i did this to a girl. I dumped her but never had the heart to tell her why i dumped her. I have way too big of a heart. And that person who gets me is just extra lucky to have someon who cares as much as me! No doubt she will still always remain in my heart she was my true first love. My ex from two relationships ago did the samething with me i broke up with her and she still had feelings for me for about another year. i think she still does and im going to try to rekendel the light between us. I realized how lucky i was to have her. Man i way such an idiot to leave that girl from this one. I realize what i must do in due time my friends. Go back to the one who really cared about me and my well beings. Thanks again disneyresurrection!!!! You have been the biggest help of all in my times of need!
