Ok ppl (leaving for Disneyland)

Hey ppl its me it is 5:13 a.m....it is still dark out! And I leaving to DL in a few minutes tell me if this is a good time to leave or a stupid time to leave for me to get there it takes two to one hour and 30 minutes, alright well ttfn ta tata for now!

I live 1.5 to 2 hours away, too. I like to go on weekdays. Usually I give up on getting there when the park opens, leave at about 8:30, follow the morning commute traffic in (only get stuck at Echo Canyon for about five minutes) and am usually in the building at Soarin' (traditional only ride at DCA before heading to DL after parking in Mickey near the escalators, potty stop, tram ride, security and a short-to-nonexistant wait in line) by 11:00. At the end of the day I get to my car and, because it's been in the structure all day, the ice water I left in the car is now pleasantly cool and refreshing. In June, I wanted to be there to see the park open and I WAS pleased with the band concert, but in every other way I didn't like it. I left at 5:30 AM, still got stuck in traffic (this time all the way through Norwalk, about 15 extra minutes), had to park in Pinocchio (car in the sun all day which means my water was hot when I got back to the car). I walked back to the restrooms (not far, but still out of the way), then had to wait in line to take the fourth tram. Security lines were long, DCA was not even open, DL lines were VERY long.

On weekends the traffic shouldn't be as bad, but unless there's a special event (like the SCAVENGER HUNT in September), I don't think I'll bother trying to get there early.

Speaking of weather. how about that freak thunder storm this morning. could it be heard from DL? wait it was bad in anaheim I remember being there for a few minutes this morning droppin my bro off.
