Personally, I think you would get more out of the Premium AP. Where is the magic in a laptop? Besides, you obviously have a computer right now, so is a laptop really necessary?

Ummm... How much would you use the AP? More than a couple times? Go with the AP.

Well, it you get the premium AP, how will you get to the Park? If you will only be able to use it a few times since you don't drive yet and don't have a consistent and reliable means of transportation to Disneyland, getting an AP might be a waste of money and a HUGE disappointment for you. If your Mom is offering to take you whenever you want, then go for the AP--by all means!

An Ap is cheaper money wise so go for the more expensive item. Then you don't have to fork it out yourself. Have the rents buy you the laptop with their cash .....you can always save up and get an Ap and then you will have both.

This is a good point. Of course you might need to communicate about this with your Mom so you know all that is included. I like to see people getting out while they are young and not tied to alot of responsiblities yet. Decisions decisions!!! Either way what a nice gift!

personally I would go with the laptop, because it is the more exspensive one and you can use it forever where an AP is good for only 1 year. like disneydiva sayd its easier to to pay for an AP when your a teen then a much more exspensive laptop. BUT, if you can get a laptop next year, then I would definitley go with the AP.
