Default Monopoly: Here And Now

Hey all -
This is pretty cool. Monopoly is updating their game board for their here & now addition. You can vote on squares of cities once a day through May 12th. Sadly, DL did not make the cut (there is an LA, but no Anaheim), but WDW did. Check it out and vote here:

Have fun!

I'm surprised Pioneer Square is winning over Pike Place Market in the Seattle category. How many people have even heard of Pioneer Square outside of the Northwest? Even more surprising, the Space Needle isn't even an option.

I know!! And I thought the Space Needle would for sure be on there, but it wasn't--and I was going to vote for it. I mean Elvis was there!

Voted. Even though Disneyland isn't in there, it sounds very interesting and I might buy it!

That really is surprising! Even as a local, I spent more time in Pike Place Market than Pioneer Square. At least Pike Place has great shops to offset the hordes of bums.

Yep, I actually have it. I haven't played it in awhile, but I think it's actually Disney Theme Park Monopoly, not specifically Disneyland. Then there's Disney Monopoly which is all about the Disney movies.

Question Square Needle

For some reason, Pioneer Square's graphic has the Space Needle on it. That may have something to do with it.

Well, let's face it - lots of people who have never been there are voting by pretty pictures.

So why is it we (the public) need all these umpteen styles of one game? I personally can't stand going into a store and seeing the latest trend of monopoly game New Kids On The Block Edition and whatever else kinds there are. Does my closet really need more than one Monopoly board?

the answer YES! LOL jk its so all the different fanboys have something persoanlized to them. So now you can play monopoly based on disney and its somewhat different than monopoly based on army. it really is all just for looks but some people like to have everything themed after a certain thing. like us and disney and what ever sells, sell it is the motto monopoly is after.

Question The Fremont Experience!

How can Vegas not have Fremont St.?
Why on earth would they have Tropicana Ave. instead?
