Tell our bullpen to not give up so many dang runs. That's why we've been losin lately, the starting pitching has been there, but the bullpen is struggling as of late.

Maddux is only going to be as good as the bullpen will let him. They've been good most of the year but have been struggling lately. he'll go 5-6 innings most of the time I every once in a while 7 innings. The pen is going to have to hold any leads that he'll give the Dodgers. However, he is better than any option they have right now.

What do you think that Angels are going to do w/ k-rod at the end of the year. Sign him or let him go. The Angels usually do a good job developing strong relief pitchers (Jenks, Gregg, Percival, Shields are a few names that come to mind). I like Arredondo and would rather spend the money on Teixeira. I would even try a sign and trade deal w/ K-rod. At least that way you can get a prospect and trade him to a team that the Angels would rather have him go to.

Trade KROD to the NL following 2008 would be the way to go. The Angels grow their pitchers, as opposed to relying on veteran arms for too long. They need established offense, not pitching.

^ I think so. The Angels have been trying to get him in at every chance they get. No matter how easy the save may be.

I say get rid of him. Every SINGLE time he comes to close a game, there's drama. What i mean by that is, mostly walking the lead-off man, giving up hits left and right, not throwin pitches for strikes. A closer should come in, AND THROW NOTHING BUUUUUUT STRIKES. IDK i agree, get rid of him and let arredondo get some more opportunities and let shields be the closer. Spend the money on Teixeira.

MLB will begin using Replay this Thursday... 2008 marks the first time instant replay will be used in a Major League Baseball game since 1999.
