Well baseball fans I have some very interesting news. Matt Clement will be going to the Mid-Summers Classic. He will filling the spot where Blue Jays pitcher Roy Halladay was. Why? Because Halladay got hurt last night. So that means there will be 5 Red Sox on the American League All-Star Sqaud. Cool huh!

SS - Cesar Izturis (reserve, injured & will not play)
1B - Hee Seop Choi (S. Korea rep for HR Derby)

Angel All-Stars:
RF - Vladimir Guerrero (starter)
LF - Garrett Anderson (reserve)
P - Bartolo Colon (reserve)

Yes, you are correct. Also Jake Peavy is the only San Diego Padres going to the all star game.

Hey, everyone. I'm going to gone for a week up at camp. So, share anything you want about baseball and the all-star game. Oh, and anybody who can try to keep me posted on the weeks events would be very much appriciated.

We sure didn't play like all stars tonight! And this series with Baltimore is so crucial!

And to add to it, the Albuquerque Isotopes (AAA Marlins, yes a play off the Simpsons episode, yes a real team) lost, too! Nobody cares, but I was at the game.

BUT there's good news, too! The

, I mean the yankees, managed to lose, too, so they don't gain on us.

Since I have tickets for all the All-Star Events, here they are:
Today (Sunday)- Fanfest (My tickets for 1 PM. I'm leaving in a minute)
Celebrity Game
Monday- Home Run Derby (This year one representative from twelve nations)
Tuesday- All-Star Game

The Tigers are in fourth. Big improvement from the last few years. I think we can cath up. We had many strong players on the disabled list. We always seemed to have the weakest divison in baseball (AL Central). It seems to be the strongest divison now.

Yeah its kinda funny how the AL Central and AL West kinda switched roles. Now it seems the AL West has gottne weak while the Central has plenty of competition save KC. At least it makes it better for the Angels.

Update on news of Bret Boone. He is now a Minesota Twin. He was traded to Minnesota for a player to be named. Well BF we might see Booni in our series w/ Minnesota in Minesota after the All-Star Break. Go Vlady, GA and Bartolo!!!!
