The Mariners are in last:
Los Angeles 50 32
Texas 43 38
Oakland 40 41
Seattle 35 46
This is for AL west.
Also, the Fans=fest is this upcoming Sunday, the Home RUn Derby is Monday (different set-up this year), and the ALl-Star Game is Tuesday. I can't wait!

Considering that last year the D-backs had the worst record in the league, they're not doing to bad. The interesting thing is that This year the teams they do best against are the teams in their own division, whereas last year they were OWNED by those teams. Of course, with the worst record, they were pretty much owned by all teams....
Just waiting to see what the second half brings. Second ain't bad, but those pesky Dodgers don't seem to want to let them keep it.

They just booted Beltre to 5th in the lineup & kicked Bret Boone off the team. So...it doesn't look like they're doing all that great. Maybe one day they'll wake up & realize they won't go anywhere without pitching of some form.

Last I heard Boone was designated for assignment but that was acouple of days ago. Minor leagues? Most likely. I went on the Mariners web site but they're kinda slow like the team lol.

BF Dude!! Byrdman and the Angels beat Johan Santana and the Twins to take the series 2-1!! Yet Byrdman didn't get the win. Peralta pitched really well though and Frankie closed it up nicely!!! Geez what a close game!! Hey Mickey Man starting tomorrow the Halos are playin the Mariners for 4 games b4 the All-Star break! B-e-e-e-w-a-a-r-r-e-e the HALOS!!!

Oh and Matt, face it the Dodgers are fallin apart. No Gagne, no Drew, no Izturis. Oh yeah and no Beltre or Finley. L-O-L.

You know, it takes half the syllables to say "Prepare to get swept!" that it does to say "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim"

-- Peoplemover "Go New York Burrough Brooklyn Los Angeles Chinatown Dodgers of Chavez Ravine!!!" Matt

Well, like I always say(10x fast right after picking peppers with peter):

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim a-okay!
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim all the way!
Hear them shout that you're the best, clear throughout the golden west,
Watch them play night and day, keep the crowds in the clouds!
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim win that game!
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim win that fame!
Everybody blow your horn, with the halo we adorn,
the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim team!

AGREED. I am a HUGE Red Sox fan, and a HUGE yankee hater. I have been a fan all my life, and I have the hat to prove it! (I got a Boston cap at Fenway Paak in 1999, and it is the only hat I wear. Needless to say, it is now almost completely faded!)

Speaking of all stars... half of my team made it! Tek, Ramirez, Papi, Johnny... the AL all stars might as well be the AL SOX AND FOLKS!

Speaking of folks... well, Foulkes. Keith Foulke is KILLING ME! But I can't complain- we're in first, and the yankees are bombing! Keep heading south, yank's! See if you can make it to fourth place!

It's official! Boone got released by the Mariners and is on 10-day waivers. Wonder who's gonna pick him up?

Well, today the Colorado Rockies (my home team) lost 12-2. I guess that's not big news because everyone who follows baseball knows that the Rockies are a big joke. Oh well, It's still root root root for the home team.

Sox held off Baltimore today, which is good- but the Yankee's won, which moves that stupid team into second place. But we still have a 3.5 game lead over the pooheads... I mean yankees. This series is huge. If we win the next two games (both against Baltimore), then we put them six back. If we lose the next two, they're two back. And who do we play right after the allstar break? None other than the darn yankees- at Fenway. This current series and the next series are HUGE!By the way... Hey Angel's fans- what's the deal? Getting blasted by Seattle twice? Come on!
