Default Knotts Scary Farm...

So, everything has been set into motion, and everybody is starting to anticipate the arrival of the Halloween Haunt at Knott's Scary Farm! Is anyone out there Haunt fans like myself?

I've already got at least one trip to Haunt already planned out. Haunt rocks all the socks in your laundry box.

Very cool I auditioned too. I couldn't be a street monster because I need experience, and I couldn't be a slider because I don't have the training. So instead I requested a position inside either Terrorvision, Red Beards Revenge, or the "new" maze this year. They didn't tell me what it is though

Loved Knotts Scary Farm. I haven't been in years, but it'd be nice to go back there. I don't think I'll have a lot of time to go because I'm going to try and get a position at the Del Mar Scream Zone this year.

If only I lived in California I would definitely go. Our Six Flags here has Fright Fest, and that's always fun, but our Six Flags sucks and I'm sure Knott's does everything 10 times beter.

I love Haunt! I been there 3 times already. My fav. maze was Blood Bayou. I wonder what's the new maze this year.

Unfortunately that was one of my favorites too. Last year they replaced it with 13 Axe Murder Manor. This year I know for a fact that C3 (Carnival of the Carnivorous Clowns) will be gone, and rumor has it that Curse of the Spider will not be back either. Other mazes that may get the axe this year (remember, these haven't been confirmed yet) include Red Moon Massacre (the log ride), and The Asylum. That's pretty much all I know about this year.
(btw: I got all of this info from a friend who works there, so don't quote me on this :old_wink:)

Booooo, I liked all 3 of those. But, the good news is, mazes are generally replaced, not just removed, so we might have quite a bit of new Haunt stuff to look forward to this year. One can only hope.

My sister used too live pretty close and told me how great this was, and I've been aching to go ever since. Is it worth it to be the focus of an entire trip, or just a good side trip if you are already on your way?

If I were you, I'd make it the centerpiece of a trip that would include Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, Disneyland's Halloween & DCA's Mickey's Halloween Treat, Magic Mountain's Fright Fest & finally Knott's Halloween Haunt.
