Welcome to the official Indy 4 thread which will be majorly based on the upcoming Indy 4 movie. Here are just a few factoids of the movie:

Title: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Release Date: May 22 2008

That's all I know for now but I'll update the more I find out. Feel free to post your own coments and news briefs on the upcoming film!

I've been following this one for ages now... I've read a whole lot of spoilers, but I'm hesitant to post them here since we don't have vB spoiler tags and I don't want to spoil the surprise for anyone. Let me say, though, that I am very, very, very happy at the turn this film is taking, based on rumors. Karen Allen for the win!

I am so psyched about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom and the Crystal Skull!!! Indy is my childhood hero. I grew up on the trilogy. This should be sweet! Plus they brought Marian back. The 1950's setting will rock.

Wait, if the first three had Nazi's then they were WWII, 1940's. Then if he's now married and has a teenage/young adult son (Shia LaBoef, love that name), then it would make sense for it to be the 60's, right?

Nope the fifties. He has to fight the Russians and their Comunist ways in the fifyies. If it was in the 60's then Indy would be like 50 or something.

Indy IS 50 or something in this movie I do believe. It's going to be interesting to see what the writers do about that, if anything.

Poor Indy... he's old. If he fights the Dirty Rotten Commies that will be awesome. Of course it would have to be a cold war. That would be perfect!! He could stand there and stare at the Russians with an angry determined look and say "Go ahead, I dare you..." Then he wouldn't have to do any stunts. He'd just fight a cold war.

I definitely can't wait for this movie to come out! I grew up with the trilogy, and Indy was my hero (and still is) back then.

That's a good idea, but I don't think they would bring back the ark. Is that serious or fan based?

^ i think bringing the ark back should be a good idea because at the end of Raiders, the box that contains the ark came black and the rats near died. BTW is the trailer out already?
