yeah i could easily buy one of those but her villiage dress is less gaudy to wear to school is what im thinking, and its more fun to put it together instead of just buying it..the question is how..hmm

Do you already know how to sew and use patterns? Belle's village dress would be very simple to do with the right patterns. You might have to take two patterns and alter them, but I'm pretty sure you could find a pattern very similar to her dress design.

As far as her ball gown goes...That's a lot more difficult. I'm not a professional seamstress, so I can't give you too many tips. But if you want any help, just send me an e-mail and I'll see what I can do. And if you want, I can show you pictures of costumes I've made for myself.

Her peasant dress would be pretty easy, but her ball gown would definitely be a tougher one. Folks over at www.cosplay.com are really great at helping out with sewing and costume-making.

I'm working on a Sorcerer Mickey costume at the moment, but I'm doing it straight from my imagination, no patterns involved.

Everyone uses cosplay.com for like...EVERYTHING! I know a lot of really good cosplayers who are on that site, so I'm sure you can get a ton of help there. Although, the site is more geared towards dressing up as anime characters. Luckily Kingdom Hearts combines anime characters with Disney characters, so nobody should ignore you (you'd be amazed at how much anime fanatics hate Disney).

jcs_lil_goth07 - I'm sorry I can't be of more help! If I had more time and talent, I would try to help you out. But I've had a hard time with all of my costumes (I literally started pinning fabric to myself to make my last costume. But it came out excellent and people thought it was professionally made! ) I wish you the best of luck!

Yeah, there's a lot of anime cosplayers there, but even when I asked about an issue with a Sorcerer Mickey costume, I got plenty of help. :) It's a great place to learn about costume-making in general - I'm a sewing newbie (just got my own machine) and I'm figuring it all out as I go, so it's great to have a very experienced community like that to go to for help.

the gown dress should be easy to make, i bought the little model of the dress at DL, (its so cute lol) and if you examine it you really only need yellow silk fabric and lace and some of the cushiony stuff lol, all her dress is made of is really large triangles with sparkly white lace covering it and under is thick layers of fabric that keep her dress high and i bet in the real dress at DL there is probaly a layer of metal or something really hard to keep it high like that, and and you can buy the top part that covers your chest and stomach at like a fabric store or a dress store either find a yellow one or you can cover it with yellow fabric, and the strap that lays by your shoulders is just the cushiony stuff like you find in pillows (not feathers) and you can just tear it out of an old pillow, and cover it in yellow fabric and white lace, then sew it all together and just get some gold long gloves you can probaly find those at a old fabric store or on ebay for cheap and gole shoes with a flower on the top (thats how her shoes look lol) and a thick yellow ribbon to go around your hair with a flower to touch it up

then ur all ready!!!

wow u probaly wont do all that but if you do have the time and money or just a grandma or a mom sitting around you can do it its not really hard to make her dress, and if you want to know how to make her blue dress thats a diffrent story

hey, maybe i will make a belle dress for halloween i will lol

Right now I am working a Starfleet uniform and extras from a couple patterns my mom had stored away some where with a couple alterations. But I am a guy so I don't have any experience with dresses or anything like that. But if you do need any advice I'm free and open.

I've done alot of sewing.
