I don't see how Christianity has anything to prevent someone from trick or treating.
This coming from someone who is raised Roman Catholic and attends a Catholic high school.

One time when I was young, I dressed up as Captain Hook. This year I'm going to be Indiana Jones!

We got the Disney catalog this year and it looks like we will have Stitch and Prince Charming trick or treating together...how's that for an oddball pair!
I will have to take a picture and post it.....

When I was browsing Disneydirect.com I came across their halloween costumes, and so I searched in adult comtumes. I was suprised and delighted to see they had a Jack Sparrow costume! But for some reason, they gave him an eye patch. Poor Jack.

Well, let's see; over the years I 've been a power ranger, robin hood, a ninja, a union soldier (i made that one myself); and most recently (and my favorite), Sorcerer Mickey. It was too expensive to buy one from the store, so I made do with what I could find. I got a red robe from Goodwill, and a magician's hat and big gloves from a halloween store.

But this year, I'm told I'm too old for trick or treating (and just when is someone going to give me a trick?). So, I'm going to sick around the house and hand out candy. But, my Disney side will not be forgotten. I'm going to make my house a wonderfully haunted... mansion. Nothing too expensive, just a green light emiting from my room window, a ghost, and a few other tricks.

At first I was not going to dress up, but I found out that we can dress up the whole weekend before Halloween at work.

So, I have two ideas:

1. Go to a thrift store (my favorite place to find a costume) and dress in a really fancy dress... like a princess. Also get a tiara, gloves, the works.

2. Get orange sweats, paint black stripes on them, wear my Tigger safari hat and my vest from work, and then put my Tigger safari backpack on so I am twins with safari Tigger!

I really want to do the princess thing, but maybe I will do both if I am working most of the weekend before.
