Got my Walt Disney Treasures "Zorro" Seasons 1 & 2!!

The Walt Disney Treasures "Zorro" Seasons 1 & 2 are AWESOME! The original black and white episodes. At the end of each episode is the "Next Week" highlights that aired with each episode. Each season comes in a BLACK tin with yellow lettering....very nice! Each season comes with a lithograph...one is Don Diego and one is Zorro. They also include collectible Zorro pins.
The episodes have been digitally remastered and look very clean and nice. When I get the chance, I will scan and post the lithos and pins! Definitely much better than the "colorized" versions they released through the Disney Movie Club!

I bought them too. It is so fun to watch this series in broadcast order. Many of the story lines continued from week to week. I never got a sense of the continuity of Zorro by watching it in re-runs back in the day. Plus, I had never seen the first episode which is crucial to understanding the character. Now I get Zorro in a way I hadn't before.

The writing is good, the casting is excellent, the sets are great, there are beautiful matte paintings by Peter Ellenshaw and the series completely reflects the quality which Walt Disney put into all his TV projects of that time.

I absolutely love the Walt Disney Treasures series of DVDs. The Zorro volumes are another great edition to the Treasures which are the Walt Disneyest of all DVD releases.

I would love to get these. I always had to watch the show at night on Vault Disney. Maybe I smell an early Birthday present to myself! LOL
