I have friends that actually like disney (and disneyland) so it doesn't bother me too much.

Well I am on another website that my friends run and the people on there are grown adults (well into their 40s and 50s) and they ask my best friend who runs the site "why is Mike into Disneyland so much?". My question to them is this "why do you care how much I like Disneyland?"

^ That's a really good response if someone asks you why you like DL so much.

Another one could be "Well, why are you so much into ___________?"

When you consider that people have many hidden vices (ie "skeletons in the closet") what could be wrong with liking the "happiest place on earth"? I mean, is anyone going to accuse you of having "happiness management problems"? Is a psychologist going to tell you "you are a happy young man"? In the movie Patch Adams the title character had in his record "excessive happiness".

people at my high school don't like disney and are all in to six flags. even my friends give me a hard time about it and they have never been there! It makes me angry that they arn't openminded about it.

A customer who came into my shop noticed all the Disney memorabilia around and she said "you just don't want to grow up!" which I took as neutral because I say that about myself. But then she said, "how do you expect to find a woman and get married?" This was not only rude but incredibly stupid. This costumer comes in every day and let's just say the gate is down, the lights are flashing but the train isn't coming.

^ LOL! That was an extraordinarily stupid remark by that customer. I remember a good quote from a guy regarding marriage. 'Don't marry someone you can live with, marry someone you can't live without.'

I have an online friend that is pretty much anti-disney, but he doesnt teez me about it, me and him are good buddys, im pretty blessed with a good friend like him. But in the past around 6th and 7th grade, I had a couple people say stuff, "Disneylands gay, there rides are all for babies." but I ignored them and never stopped going or loving Disneyland, now I have good friends that love going with me when they have a chance.
