Default Disney Game

I think disney should partner with Frontier and atari to make a game where all the disney rides and buldings are at your fingertips, and you can ride the rides controll them and things like that is there a game like that?

I believe there IS a Disney theme park PC game. I'm not quite sure who made it, but I know it wasn't from the maker's of RCT...

Kinda off topic a bit, but at Disney World, they have a place at the Downtown Disney called Disney Quest. It is like an indoor amusement park, and one of the attractions is a simulator ride where you design and build your own roller coaster.

Ah yes...this is the infamous Ultimate Ride series, where you can practically make a roller coaster do anything you want to, and not have to pay the chiropractor bill afterwards (speaking from personal experience).

Unfortunately, the limitations to this game are simply that it's made for roller coasters. You can't make a faithful re-creation of Small World (unless you make your coaster really slow), and a lot of the pre-loaded theming is from various parks. I would assume that you could download other mods or extras that users have made to compliment the game, but I haven't tried this yet.

And to be frank, there was a game where you experience most of the attractions! It was called "Adventures In The Magic Kingdom", and in this game you had a series of missions to complete and obtain the keys for re-opening Disneyland in time for the grand parade! Features mono sound and 8-bit graphics.

Oh, did I mention that it was for the original NES? :P

i played the nes game it was sweet. i think the disney game your talking about is just a coaster builder with disney themes, not a theme park. if this is not what your talking about send me a link to this game

That's exactly what I am talking about. The physics in Ultimate Ride are much more liberating, and it allows you to pull stunts that Roller Coaster Tycoon would smack you down for.

But, since you're looking for a game that encompasses all of the rides, there's nothing like that out there that I know of (Well, Duke Nukem 3D had a pretty darn good conversion which allowed you to play in New Orleans Square and Tomorrowland, with options to ride Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Space Mountain...even Star Tours!...it was never completed, though).

Ultimate Ride would be your best bet. At least on the Disney edition, they have a faithful re-creation of Big Thunder Mountain.

Well at least RCT taught you what an awesome but rideable ride looks like. I enjoyed how reality-grounded its evaluations of your creations were. I have a much better sense of what makes a good/bad coaster in reality now thanks to it.

I've been wanting something like this since the first Rollercoaster Tycoon. Use the RCT game engine and make a purely Disney game. One where you could create your own Disney park, or take control of Disneyland. It would be so cool to walk through Disneyland using your first-person view. You could expand the park and create new rides. I can't believe this hasn't been released yet!

See, I'm torn because of that fact alone. On the one hand, I enjoy RCT because it employs real-world physics that allow you to see just how a roller coaster should work. But the other hand I like to see how many vertical loops I can construct whilst pushing G-forces in excess of 125!

And people were scared that I wanted to build roller coasters for a living....
