My Mood: | (Also known as update when I get to the parks at random) So I had a chance to go to Disneyland yesterday, for a full day this time, the first in a while. As with it, I took a lot of notes and pictures, wallpapers will be coming soon. First the notes: Pirates of the Caribbean: The fiber optic sign wasn't working. Not sure if this is an error or if it's genuingly broken, but oh well. The fighting shadow puppets weren't working. Again, same thing as the sign. VMK has hit the park in full storm. Quests and related items are now avaliable throughout the park and prominently in Innoventions (They take up about 1/2 of the first floor). More in the photos. Indiana Jones: Our car idled in the boulder room for a good 30 seconds before proceeding. Seemed unusual to me, but perhaps its from the high traffic in the ride The 3 doors effect is still broken. Winnie the Pooh: The second bouncing Tigger is missing/broken. Innoventions: The poor host of the Sports Zone got ditched by her entire audience. I felt bad, but then again the show has been the same for months and months now. It's time for a new show. Though I mist give compliments to the host, she kept her smile and pep regardless of her leaving audience. On to the photos: ![]() Here's the crowd entering DCA.... ![]() And here's the crowd entering Disneyland. Note that it's about twice the size or more than DCA's. ![]() The VMK booth outside Innoventions |

My Mood: | ![]() The prizes you can win. Virtual prizes mostly, but the bracelet is for getting all the answers on a quest correct. Some questions are actually challenging, should take about an hour to complete. By the way, you can only win one bracelet every 30 days. ![]() Background of the booth ![]() Prize cards ![]() Some shops now have this sign. I know of: Magic Shop, Hatter's, and Star Command shop. |

| | Great job DCA Fan! Is the register with the peoplemover counter new? I don't remember seeing that before. I do like the Roger Rabbit for a wallpaper.

The Peoplemover counter has always been there, but it has been repainted to go with the new "Buzz Lightyear" color scheme. They used to be the real peoplemover colors of white with stripes. | |

| VF's Resident Reject ![]() | Great pictures, DCA Fan. When I saw the ones you took of the lines to get into DCA & DL, I said "Whoa, that's a lot of people." Maybe the not going to DL on the 17th was a good idea for me, I sort of can't stand the crowds. BTW, what kind of camera were you using? |

My Mood: | Well I took that picture right as DCA was opening, as was Disneyland, just comparing the opening crowds. I use a Canon Powershot A95, it's a 5 MP camera. And now the rest of the Wallpapers: Splash Mountain: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/19835511/ Tom Morrow: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/19835610/ Enjoy! |

![]() | BTW- You asked about the mask above the Adventureland sign. That is new from when they re-opened the Tiki Room this year. It's never been there before, from the research I've done. It wasn't there opening day, and in shots of the Ten year anniversary in '65 it wasn't there either. In my pictures from the 80's it wasn't there, and certainly not there from 2001 until the re-thatching and rehab of Tiki Room just this year. So unless it was there sometime in the late 60's and 70's (which I doubt) it is new in 2005. I had noticed the addition of the mask when the adventureland entrance was reopened and it had sparked my curiousity so I had already done the research. |
