Default Darren McGavin has Died at Age 83

Darren McGavin died on Saturday, February 25th. He is best known as the dad in A Christmas Story. He also costarred with the late Don Knotts in No Deposit, No Return. He was 83.

I am so devastated! What a terrible week end this is, first Don Knott's then Darren McGavin! He was awesome in A Christmas Story but he was equally awesome in the Night Stalker tv series. Does anybody remember that? I will miss him terribly =(

Wow, 2 deaths in a row already on the same day! First Don Knotts now Darren McGavin! I feel sad now.

This is out on DVD now?? This show was GREAT! The funny thing is, every episode used to scare me to death when I was a kid, and when I had my own kids watch it, they didn't find it scary at all. I mean c'mon, the guys walking around Underground Seattle with a vampire lurking and that's not SCARY??? I guess kids now are so desensitized.......

I wonder if Tim Conway is a little nervous now?
