Best Batman movie by far! I saw it at IMAX and it was worth the money! A must see no doubt.

I finally dragged myself to the theater to see The Dark Knight, and it was really good!

I really don't know how to describe this film... I'm sitting here at the keyboard, thinking of what more to write...
To make it simple - it was by far the best superhero film I have ever seen - and I'm sure most everyone who has seen it will agree.
I also think The Dark Knight is a good contender for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
This is the first time in a long time where at the end of the film, most everyone applauded and cheered. That probably tells you something about the film.

Overall, I guess I have to do this... Because these two films are easily the best films of 2008, and that I have proudly seen them both... So which is better - WALL-E or The Dark Knight? In my opinion... I still like WALL-E better... But that's because the film had a much different effect on me. But the Dark Knight, was amazing, and I can see why everyone loves it.
Comparing these films, like someone told me the other day, is like comparing apples and oranges. So which film is better is really up for personal taste.
It's definitely one of my favorite films of the year, so I encourage everyone to go see the film.

So enough talking, I think everyone just needs to see this film to really understand what everyone's rambling about. So go see it.

I rather liked the movie, but I felt that it was a bit too long. The length was added by the unnecessary explosions and shooting people (I would've prefered more "story time").

And the Joker was creepy, to say the least. Oh, Heath, why did you have to go? Heath Ledger's performance is just amazing, and it's very sad that we shall never see another performance from him. What a talented man. I'm not going to beat around the bush; I loved him, and was saddened when he died.

Anyway, good movie.

Yup, I saw it too! Holy what an amazing film, everything from the Joker to Two-Face was great & all the supporting cast give great performances too. It's one of those few movies where it gets everything right. Now I must say that Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker will be on the list for the best villains in movie histoty (sorry Jack Nicholson) he made him mean, scary & unlikeable. A villain we love to hate! I caution all not to bring children to this movie though, it's pretty disturbing at parts & kinda loud too. But I highly recommend all to see it. A perfect movie through & through.

I have to say that this is the best superhero movie ever made so far!

For me, as a huge movie fan, I never expected it to be so complex. The movie was really exciting, and I was LITERALLY on the edge of my seat. Also, Heath Ledger (R.I.P.) give an awesome performance as the Joker.

This, Wall-E, and Iron Man are my favorite movies this year!

Awesome Movie and Best maybe best movie this year (Ironman ??? IDK) but Transformers was better. The worst part of this movie was that Ledger played an awesome Joker and now they need to find a new one and i dont believe they can...other that what i just said that movie was SICK!

I love that movie so much! It's a must see! But I can't believe they had the Lamborghini smashed in the movie. When Batman was released into the theaters, they had a Lamborghini that looked like one from the movie outside the Spartan 16.

My favorite part of that movie was the pencil trick (if you know what I mean). My least favorite part was the knife and mouth contact.

Ahaha, I had my hand over my eyes at that point. After the music changed, I looked at my brother and whispered, "Did it show him do it?" Haha.

Which part? The pencil trick or the knife and mouth contact?

Wow i am amazed with this movie. It is incredible. It puts movies at another level. And Heath did an amazing job. I still cannot get over his character. WOW. I am so sad that he is not with us anymore. He is by far my very favorite villian in a movie, and probably will be for a long time. Heath really showed us his talent in this movie. Just imagine his future after this movie. It is sooo sad.

Just wow. Heath Ledger needs an Oscar for his roll as Joker! If only he was still here. In my house we are all big Batman fans. My dad is the biggest and he was just smiling through the whole movie, then at the end he said "Now that's how you do a Batman movie." Which is true.
I am wondering which villans are next. Scarecrow's still there, not too sure about Two Face... Joker's not dead but I don't think Heath's performance can me matched or topped anytime soon. Who'd you like to see? I want a kitty but I doubt they'd do that.
Did anyone notice that Gordon called is wife Barbarah? Is daughter named after mother? Is Two Face dead, it looked that way to me, but if not then what did they do with him? Finally kudo's to the prisoners on the boat. That was a good scene.

The mouth contact! The pencil trick was just unexpected so no time to brace myself, haha.

But with the mouth contact, he's like standing there for all of five minutes, and you keep wondering when it's gonna happen!

^ When I went to the midnight showing everybody pretty much freaked out with either horror, joy or surprise when that happened. Personally I was creeped out and impressed at the same time. Why was I impressed? He slammed the guy's head down on the ERASER side! With all seriousness (no pun intended! lol) I really can't repeat what I said out loud in the theater. lol.

Speaking of The Dark Knight, I remember reading an article covering the events at Comic Con and the guy who wrote the article was able to get into a Q&A session with Christoper and Joseph Nolan. Basically, this is what was unraveled:

- If the Nolan's sign on to do a third movie (which is very likely at this point), the villain they want to focus on the most would be The Riddler. The 2 actors that they desire to portray this villain is Daniel Day Lewis and David Tennant of Dr. Who.

- There are 3 villains that they do not want to do, as they would not fit in with the "real world" atmosphere they've crated. The villains are Poison Ivy, Penguin and Killer Croc.

- If these 3 films are successful enough, they are going to wait out about 2 years (after the 3rd one) so they can efficiently plan out a second trilogy.

- In the possible second trilogy, the fouth film will deal with 2 main villains. The first of which will be Selina Kyle aka Catwoman and be portrayed as a thief/vigilante much like in the comics. The main villain though is rumored to be Mad Hatter with John Malkovich expressing interest in the role.

- The fifth film will introduce Robin as a true boy wonder (were all pretty sure it's either going to be Dick Grayson or Tim Drake). What they desire to do is find an unknown actor between 12 and 14 to play the role. The primary villain in this one is the return of the Joker (although I don't know who they're going to get to replace Heath Ledger) and Harley Quinn. According to what Nolan hinted at, in this film Bruce is going to start feeling the physical limitations of getting older and his position as being a father figure for Robin after his family is killed. With that said, the Joker breaks out of Arkham with his psychiatrist (Dr. Harleen Quinzell) who he manipulates into becoming a villain as well. The focus of the story is basically Bruce's fear of the return of the Joker and his need for a partner.

- Finally, the sixth movie (according to the writer, Nolan does NOT want to give any plot points away) will feature primarily Mr. Freeze as the villain with Jason Isaacs and Daniel Craig both expressing interests in the roles.

I don't know about anyone else, but this makes me really excited for the Batman franchise for the next 10 years.

I got to see The Dark Knight in IMAX the day after it came out as well as in the theater!! I'm not trying to brag, but it was totally awesome!! Also, the BEST movie I have seen so far this entire summer!! (With an exception of a few others) I must admit I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Had no idea what was going to happen next! It was that awesome!!

Heath Ledger was perfect as The Joker!!! May he rest in peace. I had my doubts way before the movie came out cause I liked Nicholeson's Joker a lot. But, I was not dissappointed. Ledger gave the best possible performance for The Joker I think. All of his scenes were awesome!!

The actor who played Harvey Dent was also very good in my opinion. Both he and Ledger gave spectacular performances!!

Without spoiling the movie, (To any of you who have not seen it yet) It is an extremely awesome movie!! You will not be dissappointed.
