Default DaddyB's "Disneyland On Your Desktop" for MONDAY Sept 19th

Hey, the Emmy's were worth it. Felicity Huffman and her husband are two of my favorite actors, and it was great that she won and mentioned my favorite comedy show of all time, "SportsNight".

ANYWAY...

The emmy's worth it. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Next you'll tell me the grammy's are real awards.

Man... of all the things, wouldn't you know a stroller would make its way into your picture of the animation building :P

Yet another brilliant photo update!! New desktop has to be the first Disneyland one - #19!! Great shot!! Can we get some new pics of Soarin' and the Condor Flats area in general though?! Never seem to see many of that area. And how about part of an update dedicated to the DLR hotels?! I for one haven't seen any of them in that greater detail. I stopped off in all of them last Summer but would love to see them again - maybe in a little more detail?!

Which desktop am I using? Um....all of them?

I'm not kidding. I'll usually cycle out my desktops twice every week. I've had some co-workers and even my boss ask me about them when they see it on my PC screen. Always proud to plug your work! Always proud to see your work!

Me too - well, friends and family always comment on them. Always have a couple at any one time too. Have one on the Desktop and a different one on my Laptop. Still got an old DCA from the Sun Wheel one on my Laptop right now but I'll change that soon enough with these great new desltops!!!

thanks friends! It is EXTREMELY gratifying to know that my photos are sitting on other folks computers for even more people to see!

Aren't the teacups so pretty at night! I do so love the colors and smooth textures.

Click here. This will give you an idea of how many of these desktops I have collected from you....plus, which one is currently in use. :)

Keep 'em coming. When I reach one hundred, I'll let you know.

DaddyB, Great shots. I love your position you took on the castle for the fireworks. Wonderful shots. The teacups shot is just awsome. Thanks again for sharing.

Great Pictures as Always DaddyB. I love the firework pictures and I am still drooling over the one tea cup picture that you took with the one tea cup standing still and the rest moving. I always look forward to viewing you pictures. Thanks for Sharing it with us

Lovely work as always. Its next to being there.

I agree, the flats are kinda downer. I can see they were trying to make it like the opening cartoonish sequence to the movie... but i'm hopeful that once you step inside the 'real' theming begins.

Actually, I wouldnt mind the flats, if they could tie them into the hollywood theme. Maybe put a "Facade Department" sign somewhere near by. Hey! A Facade Department sign would also tie in the Ape Diner, and that mural outside of Hollywood and Dine. Ooh maybe they could make a bunch of small facades in that corner as a play area/photo op.

Sorry, I'll save that for an imagineer post sometime.

But its hard for me to imagine how you could improve the disney animation building. I thought the building was already pretty impressive. It sticks out fairly well. My only thoughts were that the actual sign was kinda hidden in the archetecure, and the spinning billboard thing looked kinda cheap.

But at least, they're zoning off an area of the park, that should of been zoned off long ago. I look forward to when all those walls come down, and theres a new sign on the millionaire building.

Holy Smokes, Yes!

Check out www.visionsfantastic.com main web page. I've got the left column pretty much filled up with updates going back to July!
