Default Breaking News: North Korea {test} launches 4 or 5 missiles

North Korea has launched 4 or 5 missiles. One was believed to be a Tapedong 2 missle capable of reaching the United States. But all failed and instead, fell in the Sea of Japan. As soon I can get confirmation, I'll post it. They actually did it on Independence Day. I can't believe them.

It was 5 missiles. Four were short range whle the 5th is believed to be the Tapedong 2 ICBM.

What the....!! I knew it something is going like this. But, where is the link for the news? So, those missles were trying to damage a few buildings in California and other states.

Here's a link. I've also changed the topic since it sounded a bit... fatal.

Thanks Chris. I apologize for the title. I forgot that it was just a test.

The U.S is not going to punish North Korea by force but will, along with Japan put sanctions on North Korea for this act. But I would like the North and South unify and become Korea Again.

U.S. has had troops in the DMZ between North & South Korea ever since the Korean War. They are there to keep the peace.

I'll tell you this much.......if they so much as THINK about doing anything to Disneyland, I will personally join the Navy Seals and move next door to South Korea until they consider otherwise, lol.

This appears to me to be very, very depressing. Here they are launching off missiles--meanwhile the people of North Korea are literally dying of starvation. While Kim Jong Il is enjoying lobster and steak, his people don't have anything.

Just a thought.

Its horrible in North Korea. But North Korea is VERY powerful. They have a very corrupt dictator and government. I think somthing needs to be done. The US is saying that there is no actual threat. But thats what they said about Hurricane Katrina...

^ Dude, wise up. Regarding Katrina, there were plenty of warnings about Katrina and many many people evacuated before it hit. Then the levees broke and those who thought they could just ride through a Category 5 hurricane for reasons I can't begin to fathom were trapped. Katrina was a threat, they knew that, they were told that, and they refused to listen.

As far as how powerful North Korea is, I think their missle that hit the Sea of Japan shows about the bulk of their power. They could be more powerful, but their government and dictator saps everything from the people to fund their stupidity. So the people live in the stone age (that's not an exaggeration) while the government uses what little they have to test launch missles on USA's Independence Day, effectively giving the US the finger. Just an incredibly stupid move.

You win more flies with honey than with vinegar. All the US & its allies are interested in is peaceful relations with nations. But if you're going to make idiotic statements like Israel should be wiped off the map or do idiotic things like test launch missles w/ the capability of hitting US soil on US' independence day, you're not exactly interested in peaceful relations now are you? Idiots...
