Arizona Meet 3/19

Apparently PPM and his friend are coming to Arizona for spring training games so I said sure why not and there we have it, an Arizona meet.

Looking at going to the Angels game on Sunday, March 19th(vs. Athletics).
Game time is 1:05pm(arizona time).

If you're interested, post here sometime soon[really soon] as I have a ticketmaster outlet computer at my disposal and am gonna be grabbing tickets as soon as I give people a quick chance to express interest.

And if you're in the area and don't want to go/can't make it to the baseball game and can suggest a better secondary meet place, go right ahead.

//If only I was 5.73 miles away from Angel Stadium in LA too.. going to Disneyland wouldn't be such a hastle.

I'm going to be in AZ catching some Cactus League action on Saturday 3/18 & Sunday 3/19. If you want to come along or just want to meet up somewhere else in the Phoenix Metro area for some fun let me know. I'm certainly looking forward to some baseball, coasters n' fun!

Id love to come, but I cant, we have relatives coming down. When you say that you are looking forward to coasters n' fun, does that mean you are going to Castles and Coasters?

hey Almandot, any idea on the ticket cost. I think that Mrs Ned and I are planning on going, not 100% sure, but will figure it out very soon...

no way!! I will be getting back from our Disneyland trip on sunday the 19th!! we will be flying into sky harbor that afternoon... I'll have to see what the plans are. I think we are getting picked up and then we have to go back to heber... crud. that would have been cool though.

Looks like ticket costs could range anywhere from $12 to $22 depending on where the seat actually is. Unless of course you want to sit out on an outfield lawn which is fun sure, but I don't know if I'd make that my first choice.

Count the two of us in for sure. I vote for a little cheaper seats, (not lawn, though) more people might come that way. But we'll be there either way...Looking forward to it!

Tickets are 12.00 + ticketmaster fee so about $14.85 total. I'm getting them in the shade.
Here are some pictures from today if you're curious about the stadium.

1- View of the stands on the opposite side. As you can see, the seats don't go high at all
2- More of the stands in view.
3- There's the lawn in left field.
4- There's the lawn in the outer left field.
5- This was taken standing back a bit behind the last seats. The view really never gets bad.

I went there in 2003. I enjoyed that park. The rollercoaster and waterride were the best.

I'd really like to. I do need the Patriot credit & they have the best DDR machine I have ever seen there.

Give me some feedback on when I should snag tickets please. All I can say is that this year's spring training has sold like no other year, and as it is we're prolly gonna be multi-rowing it(with seats on top of each other... it's really not bad for this stadium).

Also I'm gonna start a formal count that I promise to update 5 times an hour just like the real meetings thread *duck*:
