Default Animated Classics become Live Action!

If Disney decided to make an Animated Classic into a Live Action version, which one would you want to be made?

Please don't preach about how it's wrong to change an Animated Classic into Live Action. This thread is meant to be creative and talk about ideas, not shoot down ideas. I respect your opinions, but please don't post things like that.

I would want Aladdin to be made into a live action musical version. I think it would be very very good, especially the carpet ride with Jasmine and Aladdin. Another I would like to see is Cinderella and Snow White, both as musicals.

I'm not going to preach. It's not that I am against remaking Animated into live action. Just remakes in general.

^^that's preaching...it's nice that you are against remakes, but really that's not the point here...this isn't a debate, it's a chance to be creative

Well, you have to think about which movies would be do-able in real life. I think Hercules might be a good candidate if it could be done properly with all the mythical creatures. I mean, any movie would be neat to see in live action, but some wouldn't be as good as others (like Lilo & Stitch...Cute story, would make horrible live action).

I never saw The Lion King on Broadway, so I can't really say too much about that. But seeing an all animal cast performed live action really doesn't appeal to me, even though those movies have some of the best storylines. Just my two cents! :P

^^ya i know what you mean...i though about those (like The Lion King), but realized they are pretty much impossible to do live action. The Little Mermaid would also be very difficult because a lot takes place underwater.

Hercules I would love to see as a musical on the big screen. With computers, it would look so great and wonderful. I also would this to be a broadway show.

well, actually they (i'm not sure if it's Disney) are planning to make a live-action version of it starring Dakota Fanning. But again I don't know if it's by Disney (who would probably base it off of their story with music hopefully) or if it's by someone else (who would probably base it off of the book).

Most of those have been made into live action movies allready.
(all but 1!!!)
SO what's the point!

How many versions do we need of these movies????

the disney cartoons are the better versions in most cases.

^^true a lot have been made into live action versions, but none have been made into DISNEY Live Action versions....there is a difference and a point.

Besides, this is JUST FOR FUN! I don't see why SOME people feel like they have to rain on others' parades.

I apologize if I rained on your parade. In the spirit of the thread, I will say:

Mulan would be interesting to see in a live action vesion.Get the people at WETA involved in the whole charge over the mountain sequence, get rid of Mushu (sorry, like the animated version, but let's face it, CGI Mushu could become the next Jar Jar Binks!), could have merit. Pocahantas, pretty much being done as a non-Disney movie, twisting the facts as much as Disney did. Not a good idea. Basically, since the others have already been done Mulan would be the most marketable.

No Cinderella, though. It's been overdone, with Ever After being the only one to come close to Walt's masterpiece.

I think The Incredibles could be made into an action film. Of course, people will die. It could be good. If movie technology can make the new Star Wars, they could make the The Incredibles movie.
