Are the Photo Contests Dead?

Here it has been 3 and a half months since the last photo contest has begun and I am really jonesing for a new one!! They used to start regularly every month until that mess last fall when the site got hacked and since then . . .
I've actually PM'd RU42 twice in the last week asking him about this and I've had no reply. Does anyone else out there miss the contests like I do? What can we do to bring them back?

I definitely miss the photo contests, but understand that there is a lot going on with VF right now. They are improving and expanding, and that takes a lot of time. Hopefully, we can get our photo contests back soon. :)

I agree. The staff do a lot to keep this a fun place to visit and not to mention other things in life outside of this site can demand attention, taking priority. Patience is a virtue in this matter. And trying to come up with a new contest can be quite a challenge as well I am sure.
