Alright. I'm off to vote, and for the record, I think this is one of the best photo contests to date. I love the abstract theme.

I did like this contest. I did my best to vote, not on the attractiveness of the picture itself, but of the creative use of purple. IMHO, just it being purple isn't necessarily a use of the color, unless you do something with it (use it to frame, as a background, to make other colors stand out, to evoke a feeling or mood, etc). I love submitting the pictures for this one - I think the voting might be a little out of the park as far as the theme goes.

Did you guys notice that a lot of the pictures feature orange as a prominent color too?

I didn't notice that but it makes sense since they are contrasting colors.

This was such a difficult contest to rank!
There were some beautiful photos entered into the contest, but the objective part of the contest lacked in some photos..
However, there were those who employed purple greatly and creatively that left me in awe.
All in all, great efforts everyone! I really wish I could have ranked photos that looked beautiful higher than I did, but I had to give credit to those who did as the contest asked.

Applause for everyone though!
