Best People Photo

The focus of the image should be person/people. Could be family, stranger, CM, or whoever (not Disney characters) They can be in either Park, in line, on a ride, watching something, what-ever. Just make sure the focus is on the people and not the Park.

STRESS: This is not to include Disney characters; example Belle, Snow White, Buzz Lightyear, etc. Cast Members doign their thing is ok! Entertainment is ok; example Dapper Dans and crowd, piano at Coke Corner.

If you have a question, ask it here and I will answer.

NEW RULE: Any Disney Park is valid for these contests as long as it fits the theme.

Rules:

1. The photo can be from current or past
2. Photo's must be yours (you were the person behind the lens, framing the shot, pushing the shutter, etc), do not use other people's work or copyrighted photos. This means that if you are in the photo, then most likely it cannot be used in a contest unless you used a self timer.
3. You may only enter 1 photo into the contest
4. Picture MUST be in the Gallery. Please link a thumbnail or full size image to this thread.
5. Contest will run for 14 days with a 1 week voting period.

Contest begins now and submissions will be accepted for 2 weeks.

ALL PHOTOS MUST BE UPLOADED TO THE CONTEST GALLERY - NO EXCEPTIONS. Our voting will require the pictures to be in the Gallery. You should link a thumbnail or larger to this thread so we can see the picture.

The Gallery has a category called PHOTO CONTESTS. Within that category there is a sub category called PHOTO CONTEST #18. Here is a link to the gallery Good Luck!

This isn't my photo and will not be a votable entry in the gallery, but I wish it were and it's the first thing I thought of when I read the contest heh. Had to share it at least The photo was pure coincidence, ie not staged or anything.

Well, I actually have alot of questions, just so I know which of my pictures I'd like to pick:

1. Can it be a picture with me in it as well? [[as in, I'll be taking the picture, but have the camera held out infront of me & whoever I'm with]]
2. Do you HAVE to be able to see/determine exactly where in the park you are? Or is can you be able to see the people & not have to see the park in the back? [[actually, that's a silly question, isn't it.. =D ]]
3. Can the photo be planned? Or does it have to be simply 'people who don't know you're taking a picture of them'?

I think that's all.

Hey Dot - I see that this isn't your photo, but if it was it could be entered. While there is the Castle and Christmas decoration I think the focus of the people is great.

1. I guess the key is that you pressed the shutter , that makes it your photo.

2. No, it just has to be taken at the Parks.

3. Any photo with people, planned, staged, spontanious, lucky, or whatever.

That was taken outside the bank I believe. I will have to check my GPS logs on my camera but I believe it was waiting in line for APs

LOVE the theme. Too bad I don't have very many people photos.

Here's mine (I hope)



I watched this little girl wrestle with her balloon for several minutes. It would wrap around her feet, then her tummy, and she would spin around until FINALLY she got control of it. For such a teeny little thing she never lost her cool. Just kept dancing with the balloon until it was up in the air where it belonged.

Here's a link to a picture in my gallery just for fun. It was taken sixteen years ago, when the rockets were still on top of the Peoplemover platform. I won't enter it because I don't remember for sure if I took it or my husband, but I did the cropping on it so that I could SEE the kids.
