Best Golden State Photo

After you enter DCA and get to the Sunshine Plaza, if you go right you are in Golden State; which raps around both sides of Mt Grizly. If you are unsure of the exact area that is Golden State please refer to this map:

Sorry - I cannot think of any area at other Disney properties that would correspond with this category.

NEW RULE: Any Disney Park is valid for these contests as long as it fits the theme.

Rules:

1. The photo can be from current or past
2. Photo's must be yours (you were the person behind the lens, framing the shot, pushing the shutter, etc), do not use other people's work or copyrighted photos. This means that if you are in the photo, then most likely it cannot be used in a contest unless you used a self timer.
3. You may only enter 1 photo into the contest
4. Picture MUST be in the Gallery. Please link a thumbnail or full size image to this thread.
5. Contest will run for 14 days with a 1 week voting period.

Contest begins now and submissions will be accepted thru Jan 28

ALL PHOTOS MUST BE UPLOADED TO THE CONTEST GALLERY - NO EXCEPTIONS. Our voting will require the pictures to be in the Gallery. You should link a thumbnail or larger to this thread so we can see the picture.

The Gallery has a category called PHOTO CONTESTS. Within that category there is a sub category called PHOTO CONTEST #17. Here is a link to the gallery Good Luck!

Here's my entry. I have again failed to provide a thumbnail. Sorry. Maybe someone can help. I'm following RU42's instructions but find the following issues:

When I copy the address of the thumbnail, there is no "thumb" note in the address as in his example.

On the screen of instructions after step 7 it says "tag add the following" and then there are two boxes labeled "HTML code:" On my screen these are empty boxes. Is there supposed to be something there that might help me figure this out?

Except for the lack of the work "thumb" in the code, mine looks like RU42's example. I'd sure like to be able to be successful at this but I'm stumped.

It's easier to do than explain.... but I'll try.

I went to the page of the gallery where it shows all your photos,
and right clicked on the thumbnail of the one you wanted.
and selected 'properties' and copied the part that says 'address'
(http://www.visionsfantastic.com/forum/gallery/files/14070-WaterWheel01_thumb.jpg).
Then on your post I pressed the 'insert image' icon

and when the box opened I pasted that address in.
Then I selected the whole thing [IMG] tags and all,
and pressed the 'insert link' dohickey

and another box opened where I put in the address of your full sized image.

I figured out part of my problem. I use Mozilla Firefox and in my "Properties" box there is an "address" line AND a "location" line. It's the "location" line that has the thumbnail address. Also, the "insert link" dohickey instruction must have been in RU42's boxes that were empty on my screen.

I will save these instructions forever, my master. BIG HUG!
