Contest #01 - Best 50th (or any event) picture

And we are on our way!

The first contest is your best 50th picture or any event picture (45th, 25th, etc.) I know not everyone has 50th pictures so that is why I am broadly accepting any celebration.

Rules:

1. The photo can be from current or past
2. Photo's must be yours, do not use other people's work or copyrighted photos
3. You may only enter 1 photo into the contest
4. Picture MUST be in the Gallery. Please link a thunbnail to this thread.
5. Contest will run for 14 days with a 2 week voting period.

Contest begins now and submissions will be accepted thru July 17!

ALL PHOTOS MUST BE IN THIS GALLERY - NO EXCEPTIONS. Our voting will require the pictures to be in the Gallery. You can link a thumbnail to this thread so we can see the picture.

The Gallery has a category called PHOTO CONTESTS. Within that category there is a sub category called PHOTO CONTEST #01.

If you have any question please ask away!

Just a quick clarification question on this one - what exactly do you mean by 50th? You mean like events/shows/etc that were done specifically for the 50th?

Kirsten - yes, Parade of Dreams, Remember, the galleries, a mosiac, a hidden 50th - or anything along those lines for the past celebration (Parade of the Stars, Believe (which debuted for the 45th.))

Almandot - well, you can shoot and post it on the 17th or early morning the 18th. I usually wont get to it until 9:00-10:00am or so - if even that early.

Why isn't the picture showing up with the image brackets even? I swear I'm not this computer illiterate.

*Apparently someone needs to go to bed now ... ... ... LOL!

When you want a full image to show up on the boards, you don't include the url tags. If you get rid of those and the equals sign and the quotes, you should get:

url tags have to go outside of the img tags. nothing can be inside the img tags except the url to the image you want to show

I took this with my camera phone. Not the best and a little blury, but for a camera phone it came out ok.
