Default Walt Disney Studios Paris RENOVATION (Open Brainstorming)

I've seen many photos & videos of the very small & uninteresting Walt Disney Studios Paris theme park & I must say in some ways the park is bad as the pre-renovation Disney's California Adventure. The park is almost as empty as Hong Kong but atleast Hong Kong Disneyland has an overall theme despite the lack of attractions. At Walt Disney Studios, all the buildings look like office buildings & the park in my opinion is too much Universal Studios & not enough Disney. But on a positive note, they've been working to add more magic to the park with the additions of Tower of Terror & Toy Story Playland.
Anyways, I was wondering what you guys were thinking of adding to the park to add more Disney magic, I was thinking of adding Toy Story Midway Mania & Soarin' (Some may say it couldn't work but I think it could.)

Soarin' could go there definitely. They should put in Toy Story Mania and Monsters, Inc. Ride and Go Seek

But Soarin' is all about California.

I think the more appropriate comparsion would be Disney Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.

Personally, I think the park looks very interesting. In fact, it looks interesting enough that I have already bought tickets to Paris and will be visiting this very park in mid October. Have you been there? I'd personally reserve harsh judgement on somewhere that I have never been simply because I've never been there and can't really say one way or the other. But that's just me.

I do not think that Soarin' would fit at all. This is, after all, a park about studio productions, specifically cinema, animation, and television. This is not a park about California. Soarin' would in no way fit the theme of the park. It would be comprable to adding Rockin' Roller Coaster to Fantasyland or adding Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room to the Living Sea at Epcot.

However, I think the Indiana Jones Stunt Show Spectacular would be a rather exciting addition to the park.

I have been in the park , and it's really good, it has some interesting shows that are not found in any other park (Animahique, Cinimagiqur), besides, the park really doesnt have a lot of things but the opening hours are really short also... i personally didnt do everything in one day. (and it was a winter school day).

I definitely agree that Soarin' Over California probably wouldn't go in there, but Toy Story Mania could, and should, go into the Toy Story area. However, if you wanted to get a Soarin' type ride in there, you could do something related to Up, like boarding a patio and flying over Paradise Falls.

Something similar to Soarin' would make an excellent addition, but it doesn't have to be about California. Let's think outside of the box, now.

I just found out they're putting in a Ratatoullie attraction where guests take the perspective of Remy as they try to escape a restaurant or something like that. It's going to be an LPS dark ride like Pooh's Hunny Hunt with a ceiling as high as Pirates and Phantom Manor.

I mean they're actually already doing that, they already have it planned out and everything with a parcel of land. It does sound very interesting though.

I was thinking that maybe we put in Monsters, Inc. Ride and Go Seek from Tokyo Disneyland with some changes I added to it in a different thread. I know a lot of the rides in the park are based off of Pixar but what else can you really do?

Well, on a renovation thread for Epcot, I thought outside the box for that park's Soarin', by themeing it to Florida.

How about adding a French-language version of Muppet*Vision?

That could work, maybe a French Great Movie Ride with French and American movies in it?

Hi there,

I've been to the park twice and loved it. The one thing they could use is designated smoking areas. Guests smoking in line (outside lines) while they wait for an attraction is by far the worst thing I had to tolerate at either of the two parks.

The Finding Nemo indoor roller coaster was incredible! It would be a great addition to CA.

(Sorry if I ran a bit off track on this one)
