I like ROMANARMS's idea for Jungle Cruise. Yeah, maybe Sweitzer Falls hides part of the entrance to the cave, then when you see the backside of water, you make a turn into an eerie cave, but the skipper pretends not to do that as if spirits pulled it in or something. |

/\ I'd like to work on all the lands at the same time though. Like we do Adventureland then move to Frontierland then Fantasyland then Tomorrowland then whatever else we have.

From what it seems, Adventureland is themed to a lost jungle island. The Black Pearl can work outside Pirates of the Caribbean as a decoration, it's in the ride now. So what we have so far is:
1. The Jungle Cruise 2. Pirates of the Caribbean 3. The Haunted Mansion 4. Indiana Jones Adventure I'd love to work on the Haunted Mansion by the way, voodoo sounds interesting. Maybe we can theme it to a hunter cursed by a voodoo priest or something like that. And I was thinking, if we're theming this to a lost jungle island, would it make sense to use characters from Disney's jungle films? I mean Baloo lives in India, Tarzan lives in Africa as with Simba and friends, and Kuzco lives in South America. If Adventureland was one constant theme we would need either one normal theme, or one movie theme. This is a brief outline of Pirates so far. So the exterior of Pirates will be much like the scarred stone fortress at Disneyland Paris, only much larger and more ragged. It will look more like a Spanish castle than a fortress. The Black Pearl will be docked outside the entrance which is through a pair of giant wooden doors. Inside will be a suprisingly well-kept series of chambers and rooms. Paintings of ship battles, ships in bottles, and portraits of important Spanish people would line the halls. As guests progress the walls of the fortress begin to rot and darken. Flickering gas lamps light the way, dirt crawls across the walls, and ominous water drops and screeching bats can be heard in the distance. Soon abandoned prison cells start popping up, many filled with the skeletons of pirate prisoners, some notable skeletons being two skeletons locked in an eternal chess game and one skeleton sprawled out on the floor, attempting to write a tally mark on the wall. The 55 tally mark on the wall. Suddenly the halls of the fortress empty out into a dark lagoon. A small sandbar can be seen up ahead, a seagull gnawing at a treasure map glistening the words "PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN." As in the case with Disneyland, guests would first see the boats circling here, filled with happy guests. The walls opposite the lagoon show paintings of famous pirates just like at Disneyland. Some pirates would be Blackbeard, Sir Henry Morgan, and even Captain Hook! The path would lead up onto a rickety old dockhouse marked as "Smuggler's Point." Pirates can be heard talking faintly in the distance. The docks would lead to the loading area where guests disembark and board their boat. The boats would then ease off into a dark lagoon surrounded by dense jungles, croaking bullfrogs, grumbling crocodiles, and glowing fireflies. Rounding a bend, a small shipwreck would be seen up ahead, it's sails draping over the boat's path. The Jolly Roger adorning one of the sails would give the same spiel the skull at Disneyland does. The boat would then go through the shipwreck and topple down a waterfall into a forest of reeds. Small fires can be seen looming in the reeds while Port Royal appears in the distance. Suddenly the fires erupt and reveal several boats filled with pirates, each armed with a large cannon at the front of the ship. The pirates shout out and the lights in Port Royal turn on. British soldiers pop up from the sides of the fort and fire back at the pirates, causing explosions in the water. The boats would escape the relative danger by entering the city through its main gates. Up ahead would be the typical well scene, only Governor Swann is dunked in the well, and Elizabeth Swann replaces the mayor's wife in the window. Jack Sparrow is still seen in this part of the ride. The next scene would be the auction, followed by the chase scene, restored to its original glory, pirates chasing ladies. The pooped pirate would be holding the pink underwear once more while its owner would hide in the barrel behind him. Replacing the large woman chasing the frightened pirate would be Will Turner locked in a heated sword-battle with an extremely drunk pirate. A few feet below Jack would be seen with a treasure map and key sitting on a sleeping pirate as he sits next to a glowing lantern. Old Bill and his cats would be seen up ahead, followed by the typical burning town scene. Only once you pass beneath the pirate sitting on the bridge you'd enter the bombarding the fort scene which has been made more epic than before. Two ships have been thrown into the scene along with the fortress and a third burning ship. The first ship would be the Black Pearl led by Barbossa, and the second would be the Wicked Wench led by Blackbeard. Barbossa's lines would be changed as Blackbeard said pretty much the same thing Barbossa does today. British soldiers and pirates would fly from ship to ship, engaging in sword battles. Apparently the Black Pearl doesn't like the Wicked Wench, and Port Royal likes the neither of them. There was a third ship, the Queen Alligator. Unfortunately the Queen Alligator didn't survive the battle, caught fire, and sunk to the bottom of the sea, its cabin the only thing visible from beneath the water. Having to escape the battle or perish, the boats would quickly turn and enter a hole in the fort caused by a cannonball. Inside would be the creaking timbers, followed by the prison with the dog and the prisoners. After the prison would be the arsenal which would be made more epic than before. All the original arsenal pirates are there along with the pirates seen in the original Treasure Room at Disneyland. The arsenal has also been given some new effects like explosions and all that. Dead Men Tell No Tales is barely heard in the distance when there is a giant explosion. The boats plunge down a well-sized waterfall and through red smoke and flashing orange and red lights. Following this would be the typical grotto scene, starting with Davy Jones on the waterfall, followed by Hurricane Lagoon, Dead Man's Cove, Crew's Quarters, Captain's Quarters, and the Treasure Room. The old "No fear have ye of evil curses says you" would be heard in Dead Man's Cove while "Perhaps ye knows too much" would be heard in the Crew's Quarters. The last scene in the ride would be a smaller treasure room off to the side of the big one, a skeletal Jack Sparrow sitting on a throne in the moonlight, giving his spiel as at Disneyland and Tokyo and Florida. The boats would then go up a large waterfall past two skeletons trying to carry a treasure chest uphilll but dying in the process, and thousands of flickering green eyes. "Yo Ho" and Dead Men Tell No Tales would play repeatedly uphill, rather than Davy Jones saying some nonsense. The ride would then let off into a gift shop, Pieces of Eight. That wasn't even my detailed ridethrough.

"Adventure" is a broad term that brings to mind a very broad range of images. For some, it can be a time, for others a place. For others still, it has more to do with a spirit or a state of mind. Since many disparate images come to mind when one hears the word "Adventure," our Adventureland could intentionally play on several of these themes and settings. There are the deep, dark jungles of Africa, the islands of the Caribbean Sea, the South Seas tropics (granted that anyone thinks to add the Tiki Room), and an Arabian Bazaar. It is the combination of all these locales that creates an overall sense of adventure.
All I'm saying is, we don't have to limit ourselves to one location, geographically, because that makes sense in the real world. After all, we are not designing a real world, per sé. ---Trevor

I suppose it'd be better to do Arabia and Africa and all that. I just don't want any Dumbo imitations or anything like that. We should put in the Tiki Room.

Tevore, i agree to what you say but not arabia... arabia is a built place, a place with buildings almost a city. Africa, Caribian, South america, Asia there are all jungles. It's true that you dont need one geographic state, but putting a settlement in a lost jungle... this truly makes it weird.
MEW: Liked your POTC... I was thinking maybe you add a kraken scene... about the haunted mansion, i like the idea of a hunter cursed by woodoo priest... i will start working on it. |

^ Agreed. I had just forgotten about the lost jungle theme. I would like to work on the Jungle Cruise. I believe we said no Disney, right?

A rough outline of the Adventureland haunted mansion.
The mansion will look like a giant jungle cabin with vines hanging all over it, the wood is burned at parts and you cant tell the difference between what is planted there and what wildly grows. Weird plants are everywhere around, the windows are shattered, the mansion is located in a dark part of the Adventureland jungle, there is hardly any sunlight. You enter the queue, you pass through the gardens of the hunter, the garden is filled with bones and wild giant plants that grow there, and there are also statues of little gnomes shaped as tiki idols, there eyes move every no and then… you continue into the family graveyard… it is not as big as in other haunted mansions… the tombs are in a condition far worst than mint, and you can see the insects that swarm in the tombs making holes underground… After the graveyard you find yourself in the entrance of the mansion… You enter the room… there is a fireplace with fire that burns constantly and quietly… on the walls you see the hanged heads of various animals haunted by the haunter,, mooses, bears etc. You see a door which leads to the basement… the door is closed and it opens after all the guests came in… it opens silently and by itself… you enter. You walk down the wooden stairs that are not maintained very well, you find yourself in the basement which is dirty… mud, insects and jars with god knows what are on the shelves… every no and than you can see glowing eyes and hear weeping… a clue for supernatural powers within the mansion. The floor of the basement is actually an elevator leading to the beginning of the ride. Like other Disney mansions there will also be four pictures which reveal horror as the elevator begins to go down. The pictures are: Hunter seating near fireplace---- turns out that there is a dead man's head in the fireplace. Hunter looks at the window---- turns out that there is a bear on the other side going to smash the window and kill him. Hunter eats chicken leg while seating in the table--- turns out that there is a venomous snake wrapping itself under Hunter's foot going to bite, several other snakes are crawling towards Hunter on the floor. Hunter's head is the only part seen as it seems he is in his room looking towards the horizon--- turns out that he is hanged from the ceiling and bleeding from his feet. As the elevator starts going down the pictures reveal themselves, id starts to get dark as a spooky speech is sound… after the end of the speech the attic which is the hunter's body falls down. You exit the elevator and get on your doom buggy, and you begin the ride. Scenes rough outline: You begin your journey leaving the elevator and you enter: The hall of glory: a place with a lot of hanged animal heads… suddenly a bright greenish light appears and all the heads open their eyes and start making noises of the animal. Closet scene: You enter the hunter's bedroom… his bed vibrates- you can see it's because of tens of spiders walking all around it… the hunter (in spirit form- meaning ghostly looking) sleeps peacefully in his bed while the spiders crawl all over him, the closets are shaking and the ceiling is filled with ugly insects… just before you exit the buggy makes an 180 degree turn and you see that one of the closets is opened and inside- a tiki idol with glowing green eyes and an evil smile. Endless corridor: You enter what seems to be an endless dark corridor… there is a floating oil lamp up high… you can hear the sound of weeping and a minute before you exit the scene from a hidden door, a ghost is materializing and tries to reach you, you leave right before the face are materialized. Fireplace: The fireplace scene is actually the Madame Leota scene… The face of Leota will be a hologram inside the burning flames of the fireplace… it is here where she makes her famous materializing speech and you go around the fireplace as the fire go stronger and hotter with her every word. The feast: After the ghosts had materialized you enter a room with a big table underneath (like in the dance scene of the regular mansion), and the ghosts are eating in it… they are all singing campfire songs and one is playing the guitar (to replace the piano)… the food and the men are all ghosts. The Voodoo spell: You enter a dark room where you can see a strange looking Voodoo priest and a man shaking in pain… you see that the priest is holding a doll shaped like a man and pokes it with a razor sharp needle… when the man makes a pain cry… his face begins to become ghost face as his soul is trying to escape his body. The potion: You enter another room with a table and lot's of unknown disgusting staff all over it… there is a big pot and a ghost is pooring some red liquid into it… you can see a human hand rising through the pot moving slowly… an undead crow is making noise in the background. The Picture: You enter another corridor where there is a huge picture of the Hunter with a sad expression… the picture begins to glow and the outline of the hunter glows brighter… slowly several body parts get 3 dimensional in a ghostly way and this continue until there is no picture left… just a blank frame and a ghost of the hunter hovering towards you trying to reach. The Skeletons: You enter a room with a round table… on which four skeletons play cards… you can notice the snake that is wrapped around one of them and an undead dog that one of them is petting. The scene ends where one of the skeletons win and takes all the money… but it's not coins… its Dead animal's eyes. At the ending of this scene the famous song from the haunted mansion can be heard in the background The four singers: You enter a room and see on the wall the four heads that sing, they are hanged like dead animal heads… they sing the famous song. From this scene until I say so, the song is heard. After the en of the scene you begin to go downwards- underground. The underground room: You enter what seems to be a prison cell, and you see a lot of ammunition… this is a short scene… gunfire can be heard in the distance. You go upwards outside the house and into the forest. The chaos: You enter a dark forest, an undead man tries to shoot a very annoying owl that makes a lot of noise… several crow on another branch also cry… the undead dog that the man holds via a glowing ghostly leash is barking, the trees have eyes and they are moving their branches around looking at you. The Tiki idol: You enter another place in the forest with less trees and darer… you see a pile of dead men as a small evil Tiki idol stands over them laughing… the whole seen is with smoke on the ground and you can hear weeping and see hands breaking the ground trying to get out. The tiki is pointing towards a small well and in the well you can see a man hanging trying not to fall, while a knife held by no one cuts the rope slowly. The burning forest: You enter a burning forest scene… the sound is loud and the song is louder than ever, there is a hunter holding a gun and his head is hanging over him not attached to his body, all sorts of ghosts fly very fast throughout the fire appearing here and there spontaneously. The graveyard: You enter a graveyard…. All the tombs are open… you can see the Voodoo priest standing on one of the tombs and with telekinesis powers moves the bodies that were in the tombs like an orchestra, making them pop up one after another. After this scene the song from the "four singer's scene" stops gradually. The garden: You enter a place that seems to be n outdoor garden, there is a swing chair on which quietly the hunter seats (ghost of course) petting his ghost dog and swinging quietly… the scene is so silent that even the squeaking of the chair are heard. The haunt: This is the almost end scene where you ride and see a mirror but there is one more passenger… an undead guest in your buggy, not much to say. The ending: You enter a dark corridor made of stone which leads you to the exit… you see Leota in the distance telling you about the ghost and that if you want to stay and join them she will be glad… then… you exit. End. Hope you like it. |

^I like Haunted Mansion, but how about moving it into an actual mansion like from Disneyland or something, then have it fall apart like in Disneyland Paris, suggesting that a rich, greedy hunter once lived there, built this big, fancy home, but now nature has moved in and evicted the hunter.

Well you can just make it a big rotting cabin, it doesn't have to be all New Orleans-ish. There can be pictures on the inside of the mansion that show what the mansion used to look like and all, which would be all clean-cut and barely surrounded by jungle.
P.S. Pirates will be up by at least Saturday at the latest. I have an Imagineering project to do first, and then I can finish pirates. I have some big ideas for Frontierland by the way.
