Default Star Wars Episode Seven, Open Brainstorming

Ok first off I'm going to be gone until Thursday but that doesn't mean we have to stop brainstorming.

Anyhow I know what you're all thinking...NO MORE STAR WARS! THE PREQUELS JUST RUINED IT FOR ME YADA YADA RADA! Well that's not what this thread is for. Now don't get me wrong I love all six of the movies just the same, but I wanted to make this thread so we can make something better than the prequels. Something with better dialogue and acting (I'm sorry I just can't stand Hayden Christiansen in Episode 2).

So obviously this movie would take place after Return of the Jedi but how? All the actors are too old now to be in it and with all the Extended Universe books the fans have basically completed the saga for themselves. So we create our own trilogy with new characters. Now of course this will be a part of the six movies already present but it will have to be set hundreds of years after the defeat of the Galactic Empire. We can build new characters and planets and villains and everything. So who wants to help me write a screenplay and come up with a plot for one?

So my first idea is to have the film be set hundreds of years after Return of the Jedi. At this time the Jedi have returned to keep peace in the galaxy thanks to the Rebel victories years and years before. But unfortunately the remaining Sith have been secretly plotting their revenge on the Jedi hoping to exterminate them once and for all and restore the Empire. And unfortunately that's all I got, and quite frankly it sounds a lot like the prequels. But I don't want to make it like the prequels I want to make it like one of the older films with more memorable characters and less CGI. Does anyone want to help me expand onto this idea?

I was also thinking about calling it STAR WARS EPISODE SEVEN: KNIGHTS OF THE APOCALYPSE. We could have the remaining Sith be the knights and perhaps the galaxy can be facing its end which causes everyone to panic and enter war.

Who wants to help me? Any ideas, suggestions, comments?

I think the original trilogy was mostly about the Jedi returning to the Galaxy, and the following trilogy was mostly about the Sith doing the same. Perhaps, a new force arrives on the scene, one that nobody could've even imagined.

So here is a new idea:

Hundreds upon hundreds of years have passed since Return of the Jedi and a humongous war has broken out in the galaxy. The war is so devastating that even the New Jedi Order cannot maintain peace. The Sith have long since been defeated but now their descendants which have massive potential with the force have decided to wage war in vengence for their ancestors, mainly Darth Sidious. People are dying all over and all hope seems lost when three strange warriors emerge from the heavens. These are the Knights of the Apocalypse, three immortal phantoms with unlimited powers, no lightsabers or force attached. The Knights claim that the end of the galaxy has come and that only through them can people be saved. Both the Sith and the Jedi believe they are false and their predictions and claims are false as well. Everyone who questions or disobeys these phantoms are killed. These three are so dangerous in fact that the Jedi and the Sith must work together to fight off their army of the undead. No one can trust Of course this would be seperated into three movies like the original and prequel trilogy. I'll start writing a screenplay when I get home from singing lessons.

Also I'm going to get the Hutts involved in the second episode somehow. I don't want to put them in Episode Seven because it would be too soon after Return of the Jedi with Jabba's quarter of the movie. It will definitely have to do with Jabba the Hutt's son though. He won't be as vile as his father though as Jabba disowned him as a son. He is still a vile gangster but this time he is there to help the good guys not hurt them.

As with Episode One, Two, Four, Five, and Six, there will be a terrible monster for the heroes to deal with in each episode that has nothing to do with the antagonists. I haven't thought of them yet as it is still way too early to do so. But I am thinking of a creature more vile than the Rancor for one of them.
