Star Tours II

Location: Tomorrowland, Disneyland (Eventually Disney-MGM, DLP, TDL)

Changes to Pre-Show: Updated AA features to the Mon Calamari in the control booth, C-3PO, and the G2 repair droids, updated and digitized audio, new projection sstem for the ST lobby screen, Re-recorded Safety Video

Changes to MainShow: Original Endor flight digitized, side videos recut and RX droids AA enhancements

New Locales: Naboo, Tatooine, and Hoth

Pre-Show: The exterior of the respective facades will pretty much remain the same. Upon entering you?ll find the Mon Calamari in the control booth moving a lot more than just their head swaying back and forthYou?ll notice the giant screen projections are much cleaner and crispand the audio is better. Upon approaching 3PO & R2, then speak the same dialogue, you?ll notice though 3PO moves a lot more and he is very fluid. Upon passing them, we see a CM at a podium giving us our ?boarding passes? which would say ? Star Tours, Flight DM1089, Round Trip to Endor Moon (or Rebel Base of Hoth, City of Theed on Naboo, Mos Eisley on Tatooine) We then enter the Droid repair room where the G2 droids also have enhaced movements. Also, they will new LCI who observe and make cracks at passing guests. We then exit the droid room and come onto one or two othe CMs who?ll ask, ?Bparding Pass and How Many??You say your party number, and then he/she will direct you to your correct ?boarding dock?

Pre-Show Video: The video itself will be rid of the original video. The parts where we see a Starspeeder being prepped will also be re-done; It will still have the ?Time Remaining till Boarding 2:00, 1:21, etc. Above that will be new footage of the SS being prepped than now has a mix of humans and droids. The main video will be slightly different but still serving as a safety video.

*Star Tours theme comes on followed by the ST logo, fades to Star Tours Attendant*

STA: Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, I?d like to thank you for choosing Star Tours as your choice for intergalactic travel. Now before you board we?d like to go over a few safety procedures to go over. (Proceeds like before but with a different narrator than the pervious attendant. Also the in cabin part has new creatures and humans) We ask that you that you thoroughly follow these procedures, and hope you enjoy your flight

*Start Tours flight*

Main-Ride: The 4 simulators now have four different experiences as mentioned before. One will still have the original Endor flight but now with digitized audio and video and the side video re-cut. The following now are the new flights:

Naboo: The RX droid in this cabin has a new personality that is of an old man, I?m thinking Tom Kenny?s voice for the Mayor in ?The Powerpuff Girls.? Upon inspection of the droid he looks old and he seems very rusty with wires and such looking like they?re busting out, side panels missing revealing his innards

RX: *Snoring* Hoo-Wha!? Oh, looks I got me passengers. Well just remain seated and we?ll have a pleasant flight to Theed on Naboo.

*As he?s saying this, we follow the path Rex was supposed to take and appear on a runway*

STA: Starspeeder4, you?re cleared for go

RX: 10-4 control, hold on folks.

*We speed on the runway only for us to fall off into space*

STA: Reboot stabilizers, stabilizers!

RX: I know, shut your yapping

*Turns on the stabilizers and we balance out*

RX: All right folks, time for this lightspeed contraption.

*We travel through hyperspace*

RX: Woo, wasn?t that something, I guess? Uh, oh, hang on we?re coming in too fast.

Theed: Star Tours 4 this is Theed, decelerate your speed

RX: I got ya, implementing evasive maneuvers.

*We then zoom in and out of various parts of Theed, we then are in for a collision through the Royal palace*

RX: Brace yourselves!

*We crash straight through*

RX: Well I?ll be; Thye told that maneuver would never work in the war.

Computer: System Failure

RX: Uh oh

*We then tailspin into the sea, bob on the surface for awhile then slowly sink down*

RX: Wow looks you got a sky AND sea cruise hehe. Well better switch on submersible systems.

*We hear engines kick on and start traveling through the water*

RX:No problem folks, I?ll get you to Theed in no time, I know a short cut a Gungan friend showed me. So just sit back and enjoy our short voyage through liquid space.

*We pass by the Gungan City and then enter a dark cave*

RX: Wow it?s pretty dark in here, better turn on the external illumination

*They turn on and infront of us is the Giant fish from Episode I*

RX: Big fish! Big fish!

*We then travel through the caves, on the side screen we sea the fish creature hot on our tail*

RX: Hey look an opening!

*We go through and enter more open water and light on the surface*

RX: Ok ladies and gentlemen we?re about to re-surface?.

*An even bigger fish is dead ahead*

RX: Ahhhhh!

*We move out of it?s way an return to the side-screen to see it chomps on the original fish that was chasing us*

RX: There?s always a bigger fish.

*We then blast out of the surface and travel to Star Tours HQ on Theed*

STA: Star Tours 4, again lower your velocity NOW!

RX: We?re gonna crash.. Hello big junkship in the sky!

*We cras and skid on the landing platform*

RX: Well I guess that wasn?t too bad, hehe ugh, I?m getting too old for this. I need a glass of oil
*The shield goes up, the ride ends and we exit*

Tatooine:
*Personality: Cocky with a Jack Nicholson-like voice, if you played Destroy All Humans, that what I?m picturing*

*begins in the loading bay like normal*

RX: Hi everybody, this is Mo Capitan, and we?ll be taking a little trip over the sandy old Tatooine. It may be a giant desert, but man can those people party.

STA: Star Tours B4 you?

RX: Blah, Blah, Blah, let?s blow this junk rack.

*We shoot out at immense speed with other Starspeeders nearly missing us*

RX: Well now that that?s done, let?s make the jump to hyperspace.

*Hyperspace*

RX: This is going to get real bumpy entering the atmosphere

*We enter a sandstorm, we can?t see a thing*

Computer: Visibility at 30%

RX: Slag, I can?t see a thing

Computer: Warning! Impact imminent!

RX: We?re going in

*Utter darkness*

RX: So where the heck are we?

*We hear gurgling and slurping sounds*

RX: Uh-oh, better get out of hear, we going to be clam chow

*We zoom forward to an opening that is opening and closing*

*We take another glimpse on the side-vid. We were actually inside the Saarlac*

Mos Eisley Spaceport: Star Tours! This is M Eisley2; those passengers were due half an hour ago.
RX: Quit blabbering, I?m on my way! Hang tight folks, I know a little shortcut.

*We start going through a large rocky canyon. A gunshot*

RX: Somebody fired at us, Sandpeople!

*We hear the Sandpeople?s distinctive cry*

RX: Ah, we?ve been hit

*We then crash down into the sand, Jawas start swarming around the ship*

RX: Hey you hooded freaks, go away!

*Suddenly they look around the Starspeeder, get startled and flee. A noise grows louder*

RX: You guys hear that?

*Then 3-4 podracers zoom by us*

RX: Ha, podracing! Well show these bozos a thing or two. Activating secondary power.

*We then blast off quickly catching up to the other racers*

Side-Video: Now folks we have Thromen Blar in 1st, followed by Nairad Zen in close second, and what?s this?! It?s?.it?s a Star Tours shuttle and its picking up speed fast!

RX: Come on baby lets win this thing

*We dodge and duck various rock structures, along the way the other podracers crash*

Side-Video: All right race fans, all we have left is Pod champ Thromen Blar and the mysterious Starspeeder, neck-and-neck, who will win the prize?

*The last stretch, we can see the stadium ahead, suddenly Thromen hits us from the side*

RX: Oh so that?s how he wants to play huh? Well get a taste of THIS!

*We hit Thromen causing him to spin out and crash*

RX: We won!

Side-Video: And the winner is Star Tours, who is going very fast into THE STANDS!

RX: We?re going in!
*We go headfirst into the stands as the spectators flee, we also see the Mos Eisley ship hanger and crash into it*

RX: We?ll not too bad if I do say so myself (We begin to lower down) If you need another adventure you know who to call (Blast shield goes up)

*End Ride*

Ok, this doesn't sound like star tours to me. Rex is acting like a lazy jerk. Why is he sleeping? If you ask me, Star Tours shoudln't go through all this confusion on going to different planets. Hopefully, when Star Tours does get re-done, it will have a new better script and maybe a video tune-up.

This isn't Rex, they will be RX droids, but they will not be Rex, I jsut didn't come up with names for them, so my intention is each simulator would be a different experience

Ok, but remember what I said before. Star Tours should change when the time is right. It should be introduced with new technology. I had an idea for that once. Everyone liked it on VF. Just keep the ride simple but throw in a few new suprises and some cool special effects. Remember: When the time is right. They can't just keep adding new rides every second. They need to slow down and think things through.

Oh of course, but I threw this together on the idea of rumors of ST II and like the thing now is most rides are starting to get the re-ride abilty, so this does have that to some extent, sure you'll ride all four expeieneces in time but hey, I enjoy all criticsm so thatnks

But this could replace the first star tours.

I love the idea of different rides. In my opinion, it's win-win: we get to keep one of the rides as the old one, but also have newer rides in others, like say the infamous rumored Pod Racer version from Episode I. I was thinking maybe of having three other voice actors voicing the pilots for the new adventures. The Endor ride will still have Paul Reubens. We could have Tom Kenny for the Naboo flight. As for the other two, well, how about Jess Harnell for the Tatooine flight and maybe Richard Steven Horvitz for Hoth?

I thought the Tatooine flight was great! Very different from Endor, but still retaining that same spirit. Too bad it isn't real!!!

Or maybe we could replace one of the likely voice actors of the pilots with Richard Kind.
