Default Shanghai Disneyland, Open Brainstorming

I'm really tired folks so bare with me here. So as you can see, this is the next in my series of open brainstormings, ranging from Disneyland Australia to Critter Country at Disneyland Paris. This thread is all about Shanghai Disneyland, the next in the Disney resort line that has supposed to be built within the next couple of years. Now I know that may sound odd, but I've heard so much about Disney wanting to build a resort out there. So everything about a park in Shanghai is just a rumor, but until then, why don't we all pitch in and make our own?

When I was in Disneyland Germany, Open Brainstorming still, there were talks that we were going to divide ourselves up into two teams, one team being a team aiming towards a more original magic kingdom, the other towards a more unique magic kingdom of sorts. Well that's what I want to do, only I want to make the teams different. There will be two different teams, but they will each do different projects that will eventually make their way into the final park, so here's how I want to divide it up:

====TEAM A====

-Main Street
-Fantasyland
-Toontown
-Tomorrowland

====TEAM B====

-Adventureland
-Frontierland
-Critter Country (Or whatever)
-New Orleans/Liberty Square Equivalent

If you're a bit confused here's what I mean by the teams. Team A would feature several members that would contribute ideas to the lands listed underneath their description. Team B would contribute ideas to the lands listed underneath their description. Contributions would include attractions, shops, and restaurants. Concept art and whatnot would be greatly accepted and greatly appreciated folks.

So choose ONE team and ONE team only, and be sure to choose it wisely, because you'll be working on that ONE team for quite a bit. I myself will be joining Team B, simply because B is one of my favorite letters in the alphabet, and Adventureland is my favorite land.

Before we actually begin working on this, respond to me as soon as possible and tell me which team you are going to join.

Ok so we currently have four for Team B and two for Team A. We can get started as soon as our teams have both succeeded four people. If four people don't show up for Team A, we'll just have to work around that.

Before we begin we all need to decide on a castle for the park as well. Something that is not Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty. Maybe we can go with the Beast's Castle and have a walkthrough attraction inside featuring a Sleeping Beauty Castle-esque walkthrough themed to the story of Beauty and the Beast with the Beast's Library inside. The library would pretty much be a lift of the library at the Animation attraction at California Adventure. Since the castle is the park's icon both teams can work on it together.

I know i am not on the Adventureland team, but what if we move Adventureland to be the main land, like Fantasyland is to the others, and make Sultan's Palace the main icon. Just an idea. You could include a walkthrough similar to DLP's and a show, and restaurant. Just an idea.

I Like the idea of the beasts castle. You could do a walkthru climaxing at the top where you can look out overall of SD

Hmm that Sultan's Palace idea sounds pretty cool actually. Wait a minute, I have been struck with inspiration.

We have a castle at the entrance to each land that is accesible from the hub. The Beast's Castle or whatever we decide on is the main castle and the entrance to Fantasyland, the Sultan's Palace is the entrance to Adventureland, a rock-castle or log fortress is the entrance to Frontierland, and a three dimensional techno castle is the entrance to Tomorrowland. How does that sound, I kind of like it?

i like it sounds cool and very unique. For Tomorrowland, you could use the conceptualized future themed castle in the rough plans for Disneyland Paris.

Ooooo...that sounds cool!

I was brainstorming Ideas and I came up with a few ideas about pirate themed stunt show. I origanly intended for this to go into WDW but there was no room for it. But maybe this park could accomadate the huge theater! I'll post more about it later!

Once we get the castle straightened out, i think we should decide which land the Haunted Mansion, if there will be one, will go in. I have an idea for a Main Street based Haunted Mansion.

I also have a few ideas for Fantasyland dark ride attractions.

Cant wait to get started.

My ideas are for a more themed Expedition Everest in Adventureland (set in the early 1950s), a Woody's Roundup themed dark ride in Frontierland (to appeal to a younger audience in the area), & a Port Royal themed "square" area with unique versions of Pirates of the Caribbean & The Haunted Mansion.
