So, I finally present to you: Universal Resort New York This resort would be located in Flushing Meadows park in Queens, New York. It would (upon completion of the 3rd phase) will be comprised of the main Universal Studios park, a second completly original music themed park Crecendo Islands, a Global Village citywalk area themed to the vast cultures of the world (a homeage to the 1964-65 World's Fair that took place at the spot) and 3 resort hotels. ![]() (The Unisphere in Flushing Meadows, which will have the Universal logo added on it and be at the center of the resort). Phase 1: The Global Village: The Global Village would be the Citywalk for the resort, paying homeage to the World's Fair by promoting international cultures, along with being the main gateway into the resort. After getting off the exit for Universal and traveling passed the parking tolls, guests enter a pseudo-futuristic parking building where guests can park their car and either use the speedramp down to the base of World Bazaar, or take a monorail to the central hub or the hotels. The Village itself would be at the location of the current entrance pathway going towards the Unisphere (except it wouldn't be the same "strait" layout it is now): ![]() (Location of The Global Village). The village itself would include a vast array of culinary, entertainment, and shopping experiences. Dining: - Hard Rock Cafe - The Four Dragons (includes a show at the center involving Chinese acrobats, dancers, percussionists, and a light show) - Mulligan's Irish Pub - The Canterbury Inn (British) - Tapas (Spanish) - Deutchland Smokehouse (German) - La Trattoria (Italian) - Paris - (French) - The Persian Grill (Middle Eastern) Entertainment: - Hard Rock Arena - The Four Dragons (explained above) - Arabian Nights (nightclub) - Tokyo Arcade (large arcade featuring lazer tag, a motion simulator, and virtual reality). - Gondola Rentals (Gondola rides through the narrow waterways of the village). Shopping: - Oriental Traders (Asian) - El Mercado (Spanish) - Taj (Indian & Middle Eastern) - God Save The Queen (English) - The Inca Store (Peruvian) - Versailles (French) - Berlin Manufacturers (German) - Gaia (Greek) Universal Studios: Once guests see the unisphere, they would then turn right into the Universal Studios entrance hub, containing a monorail station, a tram drop-off, and a ticket center. Once buying their tickets, guests then go through the large trademark arches at the entrance way. Beyond that lies 5 areas, Hollywood Blvd., The Studio Lot, New York Waterfront, Transylvania, and Area 51. Hollywood Blvd: ![]() Gateway and main shopping district of Universal Studios, this area brings the magic of 1940's Hollywood to life. There would be replicas of famous landmarks, palms panted on the walkways, a walk of fame, and a trolley car that would transport guests from Hollywood Blvd. to New York Waterfront. At the end of the street, guests would see a lagoon at the center of the park(also the location of the park's fireworks show). If guests take a left after the lagoon, they would also see the entrance of the Studio Tram Tour, a ride that would take guests through the actual movie & show studios themselves (a New York studio division would be set up during park construction). Unlike the Universal Hollywood version, this one would be more of a real studio tour than an adventure ride, making stops at sets and sound stages throughout the ride's course... ...screw it. It's late, I have to get up early tomorrow, and there's really no point in typing the rest of this since I probably lost already. I'll edit this and complete it tomorrow, but I guess it would just be for the hell of it in the end.

Alrighty, let's get this thing over with once and for all, lol.
I don't really think that it's going to be a huge surprise, but CoastaFreak, obviously with you waiting over a week and submitting just a couple paragraphs, it's an easy call to name Romanarms the official winner of So You Want to be an Imagineer Season Five. Congrats! Romanarms, I actually really, really liked your project. You had a lot of original ideas both in lands, restaurants, and rides. I would of appreciated quiet a bit more detail, but other than that I thought you had a great project. Well, that's it for season five, and the game as you know it in general. Stay tuned, we are Imagineering a new competition for you...Announcement soon, in the meantime, here's to another successful season.

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't been around since like...forever. I've been really busy lately. I'm glad to see that the competition is still very much alive and well. I might even join the next one if that's possible, as I miss it a lot, if that's alright with Tiki :-)
Oh and congratulations to Ronarms for the victory. That's a new entry to the Hall of Fame.

Yeah, right now I'm making arrangements for season six, that's all I can say about possible returning players/judges. Just sit tight. Believe me, when I reveal the news, it will be worth the wait.

I'll have all the specifics for returning contestants in the thread. At this point, I am making a point to keep things tight lipped, and contestants from seasons I-V happen to play a big twist in the upcoming season.
