The folks at Universal have been really impressed by your portfolios so far. From the work you've done for Disney to the restaurant and the Middle Earth River Adventure ideas you guys submitted. Now, they've asked you both to draw them up ideas for a NEW Universal resort somewhere in the United States. What they want is the following -A new Studio park, with NO clones of attractions, you can use the same movies, but they want different ideas on how to convey the movies to the theme park world. Examples include, if you do Jurassic Park, it can still be a boat ride, but everyone and their mother is familiar with the rides classic floating through serene valleys, taking a wrong turn at Carnivore Cove, ending up encountering the T-Rex, drop. Try something new. Instead of a Terminator film, how bout a Terminator movie. Stuff like that, and also be sure to incorporate Universal films that haven't gotten the theme park treatment yet. -A new theme park with a completely new theme (NOT IOA, come up with something else) be creative and remember, absolutely no clones. -Two new heavily themed resort hotels. -A new CityWalk style area, but NOT CityWalk. Basically what the folks at Universal are asking for is the next evolution in CityWalk, so be creative and deliver a really cool dinning/shopping/entertainment complex. And that's it. Good luck, and be creative. The projects are due Wednesday, September 16th. You guys have come a long way, now, let the best mind win! -Tiki

Question... two questions:
1- can the new theme park (not the studios) can be like IOA in concept (as for lands that dont really connect with each other, but are al based on a succesfull franchise)? 2- The wizarding world of harry potter... can i include it (with my own twist of things... not the rumored attractions) or is that counts as a clone? 3- how detailed do you want the hotels, citywalk, attractions to be? Do you want every single attraction to be as detailed as in the previous project? or do you want just general descriptions of everything? |

1-Just use your best judgment. I prefer for it to not FEEL like IOA, take that for what its worth.
2-Yeah, I'd consider the Wizarding World of Harry Potter a clone. 3-The more detail, the better, and that counts for everything. No, I don't want project length descriptions, but like I said the more detail you can spare, the better off you'll be.

Sorry for the nagging but i just dont have a lot of time to do the project (in two days i am a week in Slovenia and in september 1st i am going to a 1 year boarding school so i will have a computer only in weekends) so i really want to start quickly.... i have some more questions:
1- Can i do a middle earth land? If so can i put in the middle earth riover adventure from last project? 2- I ask once again because i dont believe that i asked it correctly... I cannot do at all a harry potter themed land? Even if it is nothing like the planned attrac tions for IOA? IT just comes along with my second theme park realy well and i will realy like to include it. 3-Can i do rides on movies that are from dreamworks? (i know shrek is in the parks but i dont know if i can include other movies from dreamworks).... 4- the same as question 3 but from nickolodion. |

To all four questions, yes. As for HP, as long as it's not called The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and borrows plans, I guess I'm cool with it.

Here i am, about to post the last project of the season.
Before i post, i will apologize in advance for the huge lack of details. I have been able to work on this project only 4 days (this weekend and the weekend two weeks ago). Beside that, i had no computer nor time to work on this project. Even in those two weekends i was stuffed with work. Eventually i didnt did as much progress as i hoped i will do in this project... and for that i am sorry. The attractions are really not detailed in the description you are about to see, and this is simply because i didnt have time to write it. It's all in my head so if you guys are interested in farther information about an attraction, feel free to ask. At last i want to say that despite my lack of time and detail i did what i wanted- and besides the detail- all the ideas are what i meant them to be. I had real fun doing this and here it goes: Universal Texas resort: The resort holds 2 theme parks, two hotels and an entertainment street. Universal studios Texas Hello and welcome to Universal studios Texas… First as you enter you will find yourself in a small portion of Hollywood's street of fame- where it always looks like a film is being shot, because of all the cameras around. After walking on the star shaped tiles with autographs of famous movie stars and after feeling the glamour of Hollywood, you will enter the lands of the park. This land has no attractions, shops or restaurants… Hollywood boulevard is just a road to get you into the atmosphere… the adventure will begin shortly… now let's get going. Here we go to the first land of the park: "Big city USA". Big City USA Well hello there! And welcome… if you didn’t notice you arrived right in the action… So… we are now… In the first themed land with attractions in our Universal studios Texas tour: "Big city USA". The place where the action is… You may think this is just a new-yorkish looking street because of all the tall buildings and facades of skyscrapers… well… once you enter some of the buildings you will be proven so wrong… oh… this is going to be great… After you entered the glamour of Hollywood it is time to start having real fun… So… first of all I see that your kid looks a bit bored eh? Well if that's the case lets start with the immersive, magic filled dark ride "Night in the Museum- The ride" … here you can board your own Black carriage and go into a journey into a very special museum that comes to life… encounter miniature cowboys… a tiny Roman army, a mischievous monkey and even a life sized T-rex made entirely from bones… This is an adventure for all the family to enjoy… well… now your kid is in good mood I see… Let's use this time and go shopping for your 16 years old girl shall we? The right place for this is "Hollywood fashion". This shop offers a variety of Hollywood clothes from all sorts of famous movies… a place for your wife and your princess to dress like a real Hollywood star. Now… Are you ready for some real action? So come into the large theatre and get a close look of how it is to be stuck in a building when a huge monster causes havoc in the city… This is "Cloverfield: Disaster in Manhattan", you will sit in your comfortable sit when suddenly the lights goes out and the monster comes… you will never know from where it is going to pop up next. I see you enjoyed the attraction… but the action is not over… let's grab a bite in the "New York steak house", where your meat needs will be supplied and head over to the first of the two e ticket attractions in this land… "Transformers battle of the stars", where you board your car and begin your journey through what looks like an innocent street… but suddenly your vehicle turns into a transformer and you begin to fight the deceptivetrons in a new highly interactive ride system. Well… Do you want a break for the action? Just as well… let's take a break from thrills and go buy some cool stuff in the "Motion picture gift shop", where you can buy all sort of movie related souvenirs and toys… After that you can go have a cup of coffee in the most popular coffee shop ever: "Central perk". Have a cup of coffee in this famous coffee shop from "Friends" while watching random episodes from the popular comedy series. Well… you almost completed exploring the land… but there is one more thing left to do… do you dare? Are you ready for extreme speed? Are you prepared to a high speed race through the backstreets?... Its: " The fast and the furious: the ride" Where you board your car and race at extremely high speed… this is truly a thrill… well- Now it's time to continue our tour in Universal studio Texas… Let's move on two: "Animation studios". Animation studios Had fun in the action filled "big city USA"? great… Now let's make room for some comedy… Now you entered the land and it looks like a lot of studio buildings in work… This land is devoted entirely to great animation movies and TV shows… Let the fun Begin! The fun will begin once you board your little piece of wood and slide through a heavily themed Icy cave where you eill encounter sibertooth tigers, deep water monsters, and of course the hilarious characters Meny, Sid, Diego and of course the unlucky Scrat who gets hurt over and over again in the ride and during the queue… This is the great mild but wild attraction "Ice age wild slide". Before we move on to the other attraction I will say that the there are also dining options here… You can eat good food while being surrounded by play dough in "Wallace and Gromit eatery" Where you can also see how Play dough animation is made. If you want a quick snack or a drink head over to "Slurm's" Where you can buy sweet snacks, fast food dishes and have the famous drink "Slurm" from the seccesfull TV comedy show: "Futurama". This leads us to the second attraction in this land: "The Futurama experience": Board the space shuttle and go to a wild trip in this motion simulator while trying to make a delivery to a very dangerous planet… hilarious jokes along with action will make this attraction truly unique. After riding, you can go buy some souvenirs at "comedy store" Where franchises from all sorts of comedies such as simpsons, Futurama and more are sold. Another option for you is the Doctor Suess's Shop where you can buy all sorts of crazy things… Now why is there a doctor suess shop if there is no Doctor suess attraction? The answer is simple: There is. It is not the familiar cat in the hat ride… but rather a totally unique experience combining highly advanced 4D effects with the largest AA ever to be built… This is the wonderful attraction: "Horton hears a You!". In this attraction you are invited to Whoville and soon enough troubles begin… but don’t worry the gigantic elephant Horton can save the day. No let's move on… all of this was really fun but it is getting hot… it is time to get wet… and what is a better way to get wet than the "Madagascar splash"? Board a wooden log and cruise through the beautiful island of Madagascar… you will see Marty, Gloria, Alex and Melmen… and even dance with the rhythm of "I like to move it move it"… but beware of the predators of the island … and be prepared to the giant splash in the end. Well Animation studios was great… so let's get going… now we will go to a land that your kids will certainly love… and you will discover that even you will love it… "Nickelodeon Funfair". Nickelodeon Funfair We are continuing our tour through Universal studios Texas as we approach the wild looking land of Nickelodeon funfair… the land seem to be really crazy… the big icon of Nickelodeon stands in the middle while you can see all sorts of strange looking houses, and wild twisted looking streetlights and sidewalks, this whole land is twisted in some way… kind of odd… but not as odd as "Fairly odd journey", a dark ride that will take you along with Timmy and his fish parents that are actually magical fairies into a wild journey through fairy-world. Another cool dark ride to enjoy is "Rugrats!" where you board you shopping cart and go in a wild spinning ride through the supermarket, where Tommy. Chucky Phil and Lill are trying to explore the place… but caution… Angelica might cause some trouble. After those two extremely fun rides you can go shopping in the gigantic Nickelodeon franchise store named "The Gigantic Nickelodeon gift shop". Feel like flying? Well it's time to go see my old friend, the boy genius Jimmy neutron. Come into his highly interactive lab named: "Jimmy's lab" where you can try to use all sorts of crazy inventions from the Cheese transformer to the Plant reviver. But the wildest invention Jimmy wants you to test is his new rocket. In "Jimmy neutron's rocket coaster" You board your rocket and travel at high speed through Retroville… this is a roller coaster for the whole family to enjoy. If you want to eat you can eat in the most familiar place in the universe of Nickelodeon… both on surface and under the sea… "The Krusty Krab". In this fast food restaurant you can eat the delicious Crabby patty while watching random episodes of Spongbob squerpants. But the KK is not here for nothing… there is also a highly interactive and cool attraction that you can enjoy… If you ever wanted to be a fry cook in the KK this is your opportunity… "The Krasty Krab challenge". Mr. Krabs wants to test your fry cooking skills… so put on your 3D glasses, hop on your crabby patty car, grab your shooting spatula and go on a crazy, funny and interactive challenge as you try to shoot patties into he grill, shoot ketchup on patties, and keep the restaurant safe from the hands of Plankton… and much more. Also, the little children may enjoy a slef-driving experience in "Mrs. Puff boating school" where they can get they're own bikini bottom driving license. Well… this is it for Nickelodeon Funfair… the next land is the last… but certainly not the least… "Backlot world center". Backlot world center Well… we made it to the last land of Universal studios Texas… Backlot world center is a very unique land… as you enter you see a lot of random things… but on a closer look this whole land is a studio with sets from different parts of the world… you can see the Coliseum, a Volcano, a Space shuttle, A police phone booth and what not. Inside the land you can shop at "Shop de Roman" an ancient Roman themed shop that lies in the foot off the Coliseum stadium. Also in the foot off the coliseum you can eat at "The Coliseum Dinner" a fancy sit-down restaurant ready to bring you delicious dishes with ancient royal Roman atmosphere. But the true purpose of the gigantic replica of the Coliseum stadium is to host an amazing show filled with special effects… From the inspiration of Universal's movie "Gladiator", in this show you don’t follow general Maximus but rather another famous Gladiator… Spartacus. The show "Spartacus: Rise of a Gladiator" that plays twice a day is an extremely unique and amazing show filled with action such as sword fights, special effects such as the whole stage being filled with water and ships sailing on it, or total terrain changing in seconds… this show follows Spartacus- a gladiator that decides to become a free man. Near the replica of an abandoned space shuttle you can buy all sorts of futuristic stuff at "Satellite Buy&Fly". Now move on to the giant replica of an active volcano, where an extremely fast roller coaster takes part… this roller coaster takes you through an erupting volcano, inspired by the movie, this attraction- "Dante's peak" Is one of the fastest, wildest, roller coasters in the modern world. The next place where an attraction lies although it doesn’t seem like this is the little blue police phone booth… as you enter it you will see stairs leading underground to a much bigger place- which is the queue to a highly immersive 3D motion Simulator ride "The Tardis adventure". Inspired by the brilliant TV show "Doctor who" this adventure takes you to a journey through time with the guiding of the doctor… after you have put your 3D glasses you will immerse yourself in the experience as you encounter ugly Oods, metallic Sybermen, the cocky Jack harcans and even the mighty Daleks themselves. Now you probably have wondered what is in the abandoned space shuttle near the futuristic souvenir shop… It is time to let you know… Inside this abandoned shuttle lies a highly advanced, highly interactive and extremely scary attraction… board if you dare, the space vehicle and set to an abandoned laboratory in mars… where, via high tech systems you will get the ultimate experience… What am I talking about? Well: "Mision Doom". This attraction is really something… as you engage the red planet armed only with a laser gun and special glasses allowing you to see the monsters, you will try to save yourself from the attacks of terrifying mutants and monsters just like in the movie and the computer game. The monsters will be 3D and they will attack you from all directions… sound effects and a motion base that will shake the vehicle each time you get hurt will make this ride truly amazing. As you try to shoot the monsters with your laser gun they can also attack from behind or above… and even in the most quite silence… they can suddenly jump on you with a loud roar… scary it is… this attraction is definitely not for small children of faint hearted. Well, this is the end of our tour through Universal studios Texas… hope you had a good time… but soon we will go to another park that will also, be great… In here you can ride the movies… In the second park… the slogan is different. "Universals world of wonders"- Ride the magic. Universal's world of wonders: Universal's world of wonders Welcome… to Universal's world of wonders… the land where magic comes alive… my name is Merlin… and I will guide you through the magical lands of the world of wonders… First- as you enter Universal's world of wonders, you will find yourself in the base of where you will begin your adventure… This place holds a great spellbook, a giant one… with a hole in the middle. This is the book of adventures… by entering the hole inside the book of adventures you cross the boarder between the known world and the world of unnatural. Before you embark into the magic, why don’t you explore for a short moment what can you do before you enter the book. The entrance land which is called: "Dimensional cross" is the place that connects the park with the real world… in here you can prepare to your journey by buying all sorts of stuff to help you in your journey in "The great store of adventure". Besides that, there is not much to do… after standing there for some time looking at the spellbook and the rock walls that surrounds you, you enter the park. You can go either left to a dark looking place, or right- to a nice looking place. Let's go right first. We will arrive at "The Enchanted forest". The Enchanted forest We have arrived in the enchanted forest… a land of fairies and magic… in this land, the magic is being brought to us as innocent fairy-tale magic. The land itself is a big European forest full of water steams, strange looking flowers and mushrooms everywhere. Fruit trees and fruit bushes, along with little wooden bridges that helps you cross the water streams (that every no and than spray on you), makes this place so beautiful. Before we begin the fun, you can either shop for fairy-tale related franchise in "Mushroom point" which is a big green mushroom looking building, or eat in the "Mushroom inn" which is located in the giant red mushroom nearby. This restaurant is built specially for kids- the waiters are funny looking gnomes and the food is served with a special look and a gift. After eating it is time to experience what the enchanted forest has to offer. First you can go with your little children to "Pixie-go-round" Which is a carousel located inside a miniature lake, where you can ride on the backs of all sorts of fairies, unicorns and lepricons in this fun carousel. Now here is the main attraction of the enchanted forest, which holds within other attractions as well as a gift shop and a restaurant. Most of the forest in the land is not just a forest- it is called "The fairy tale forest", and not for nothing. As you wonder this magical forest, you can find in every corner things from well known fairy tales such as the lady in red or the cat in boots, and also just see a live village of dwarfs, pixies and more. In every corner you will find a small town of mushroom houses where the dwarfs are alive and minding they're everyday business. You can see a tree with a hole and in the hole- two squirrels and a pixie are having a cup of tea, you can see a house in the far corner maid entirely by candies- related to Henzal and Grettle. There are endless things to see in the fairy tale forest. In the side of the fairy tale forest there is a little clearing and a wishing well. In the side of the wishing well there is a princess's gift shop called "The golden ball" And a royal restaurant called "magic garden restaurant". In the middle of the fairy tale forest there is a big hollow tree which you can enter. Inside- there is the AA show of music and movement, as well as light effects called "Celebration of the forest". You stand in your place as from everywhere frogs, dwarfs, gnomes, pixies and more join to create a musical experience not soon to be forgotten. The single ride in the land is located behind the fairy tale forest and is the home for the one who makes fun of all the fairy tales. That's right, in "Shrek's fairy tale journey" you board your onion carriage and advance through scenes from all your favorite fairy tales but as played by shrek, donkey and the cat with boots. This is it for the enchanted forest… no let's go to the next land… if you now have three options: you can go back to the main entrenace, go left to a land with a Greco-roman style of looking or go forward-left in to an enormous castle that you are sure you have already seen somewhere. We will now advance to the next land: Mythica. Mythica Welcome to mythica! The land of mythology… the land where the magic is brought to us as it was brought to cultures of the world for thousands of years: Myth stories. As you enter you will easily see that this land is influenced deeply from the Greco-roman style… Not the lost continent though. This land is a combination of nature and shrines and lost temples. The land you can see- can be divided to few parts. The first part which you are currently consists from small trees, a lot of grass, shrines and temples. Surrounding the shrine there is what looks like a marketplace that sells all sorts of ancient decorations, swords, china and what not… the name is "Mystic bazaar". Inside one of the temples that is guarded by a big stone statue of an archer, which in fact is an interactive sential that jokes with those who talks to him, you can eat in "Sential's eatery". The one ride that you can go to in this part of the land is "Pegasus fliers" a hanged ride on the back of a flying horse which takes you over the entire land so you can see its beauty from above. The second part of the land looks like a dense European forest… not at all like the calm one in the enchanted forest but rather a dense forest filled with plunging waterfalls, strange looking rocks and remainings of destroyed temples and shrines… There are a lot of rivers in this part and this is not for no reason… because this part holds the majority of water related attractions. There are three attractions for you to choose from… one is located inside a replica of a building well known as "Helme's deep" that stands near a LOTR related souvenir shop called "bilbo's". This is "Middle earth river adventure" where you board your boat and set sail to a journey in the middle earth. Another attraction that you can choose which is located in a deep part of the forest with no buildings what-so-ever is "Mythical river rapids". Here you can board your round boat and go to a wet adventure in mystic river- a home to all sorts of mythical creatures from cute Unicorns and majestic Gryphons to fire breathing dragons. The next and final attraction in this part of the land is located inside the remainings of a lost Greek temple… here you can board your own vehicle that can travel both under water and on surface and go to a magical, scary and wonderful journey in search for the legendary lost continent… it's "Expedition Atlantis". The third part of the land looks like a big lake with a large clamp looking stadium near it. On the foot of the stadium you can either eat at "Clamshell royal restaurant" Or buy water related souvenirs from the "clamshell gift shop". But the real reason to visit the stadium is for the majestic, magical shoe that takes place in the stadium where the stage is the lake itself… you will watch amazing performance from water animals such as dolphins, seals and even killer whales along with magical birds… all of this in the show that plays only twice a day: "Majesty- water and air". The last part of the land is a bold mountain with no plants near it… this mountain is there for a sole purpose- to hold one of the scariest roller coasters ever. "Phoenix peak" is an adventure of a lifetime, you begin to explore the mountain which supposed to be home to the burning birds but they are not so pleased that you entered they're domain. After wondering enough in Mythica which is the largest land of the park, we will now go to the dark looking place on the left: Necropolis. Necropolis Enter… the dark side of magic… In Necropolis the words magic takes a new different and shadowy meaning. As you enter Necropolis you will forget all about the happy enchanted forest or the majestic landscape of Mythica. This place is dark and frightening… this looks like an old abandoned ghost town… the buildings are crumbling, there are tombstones everywhere, a giant black stone tower and a deserted dark looking castle nearby. I don’t believe that those sites will make you hungry… but it they do you can eat in the deserted looking house that is the famous "Transylvania inn" which serves eastern European food with vampire inspiration. Another option for you to eat is the quick service food court "Bone&Burger". IF shopping is what you want to do here you can go to the store devoted to scary masks, weapons, toys and clothing "Universal's horror shop", or buy some franchises from the dead (bone cups, glowing skulls and more) in "Eyes, skulls and more". And now the dark forces…. I mean the fun- begins. Before you will become real scared why don’t you take a look on how to scare people in this new generation show "Scream it out loud"? This show is nothing like the horror make-up show in Orlando, this show examines what scares us human beings in all kinds of ways (insects, monsters), it searches what sense will make us fear the most (touch, hearing, sight) and a lot more surprises. After the show we will head over to the "cave of horrors", where we will take a ride on a dark stone inside a cave which is home to all our favorite monsters from Dracula to Frankenstein. The next and highly advanced adventure will take place in a dark looking castle filled with skulls… in "Wrath of the ghost king" you will face the mighty ghost king and his servants as they curse your mining train to go out of track and fly wild… a high-tech system will make it feel as though you are really flying. Now onto the giant tower… here you will face another dreadful king of the underworld… "Wrath of he lich king" is an attraction where you board a small food elevator and go up to the upper room of the death tower… but what you don’t know is that the tower is cures and all who dare to go up will eventually plunge down into the underworld. I think that you got scared enough, so let's go to the last land of the park… we will head forward and slightly right to engage the fantasy filled land that brings magic in the most familiar way… In the inspiration of the brilliant English author… you will come to: "Hogwarts land of magic". Hogwarts land of magic Before you enter this land you will find yourself stepping through the Leaky cauldron restaurant which functions as a real restaurant serving dishes known from the Harry potter books. The only way to enter the world of Hogwarts is thorough the entrance through the brick wall which looks as though someone really large (Hagrid??) opened it in the morning and it remained open. As you enter Hogwarts world of magic you will first find yourself in Diagon alley… this is the street where all the shops are located. Your shopping options in this land are the most varied in the park: You magic equipment such as robes, broomsticks, vanishing cloacks and of course books in "Flourish and Blott's". You can buy all sort of sweets from the wizarding world in a shop that was originally located in Hogsmede but though it's success it opened as well in Diagon alley… it's "Honeydukes". The third option for you is to but all sorts of wizarding gags and practical jokes in "Weasley's wizard wheezes". The last shop which is the key for your fun in this land is "Ollivanders". Here you can get your own wand to use during the day for free… and if you want you can buy it to keep. The want is the most important thing you will have in Hogwarts land of magic. Before you leave Diagon alley you can't miss the cool roller-coaster that sits inside the big Gringotts bank. "Grongotts- to the depths" Is a roller coaster inside the gigantic bank of Gringotts where you will break into safes and see for a blink of an eye all sorts of wizard treasures, and eventually encounter a mighty guardian dragon. After finishing your businesses at Diagon alley you can head over either to the forbidden forest or to the Hogwarts castle itself. Throughout the land there are all sort of places where you can fling your wand and something cool will happen: you can make a tree in the forbidden forest come to life, you can open a secret passage in Hogwarts and much more… but the true purpose of the wands is not yet known… more on that later. Inside the forbidden forest you can very much enjoy a dark magical ride\simulator that takes you through the forbidden forest in search for Unicorns blood where you will encounter centaurs, Acromantulas, the whomping willow, a werewolf and much- much more in the attraction "Forbidden forest escape". After finishing your wanders through the forbidden forest you will enter Hogwarts grounds. Before embarking the castle itself you will notice a giant stadium on the right, this stadium hosts the attraction "Quiddich 4D" which as the name says is a 4D attraction that takes you to see a quiddich match. Now it is time to enter the Hogwarts castle itself. The castle is a land of it's own you can say, it has so much to explore. Secret passages opened only by a correct fling of your wand, moving pictures, wandering ghosts, and rotating staircases are only few of the things in the castle. Most of the castle's rooms are devoted to what is simply called "Hogwarts class: XXXX". Remember that the wands had a purpose? Well… this is it. In several rooms of the castle every half an hour a lesson will take place. Rather it being Transfiguration, charms, defense against the dark arts or caring magical creatures, it will always be fun. The lesson will function like a real class, the guests who enter are the student and each class (even if the same subject) will be different every time. Each class the professor will give you an artifact (or animal or whatever) that is built to react to your wand… Another special thing about your wand is that it recognizes voice… so in the classes you will really learn magic. For example in a charms class you will learn the spell "Alohamora"… how? You will get close to a chest on the teacher's desk, swing your wand at it and say clearly "Alohamora". The wand that recognizes voice will react only if you said it properly… if you did- the chest will open. Aside from the classes that takes place every half an hour, there is a room where you can practice all kind of spells with the guidance of the movie characters on the screen near you. Also throughout the park there will be effects that will react only to a special spell such as a box hovering only if someone will cast "Wingardium leviousa" on it. If you found out that you are really talented in magic so you can go prove yourself or just watch this special effects filled, dazzling show simply called "Wizard duels". This is a theatre show filled with effects that is actually a dueling club… you will watch wizard battles and even see what happens when the death eaters are trying to ruin the party. Also if lucky you will be chosen to participate in a duel. Outside the show there are several small stages on which you can dues your friends in a very sophisticated system that will truly make this magical and not just stupid like in Magiquest. Now the real attraction that lies within the castle is "Hogwarts adventure", which takes you on a journey where you can choose between spell mode or fling mode. The attraction is advancing through places and scenes from the books and you need to use wand (not your one but a one built in the vehicle) to proceed. You will have 3D glasses and the cool thing is that a high tech system will launch different results on the same screen depending on what you did. In fling mode that favors the little kids and those who don’t speak English you will cast spells simply by flinging the wand, while in spell mode you will need to cast the correct spell (including saying it) in order to get the right results… There will be a lot of magical scenes such as Transfiguration challenge, Potions class, and more scary scenes such as Fluffy, Dementor attack and the wrath of the dark lord. This is by far one of the most advanced rides ever. Now we end our journey through Hogwarts land of magic and by that we seal our visit in Universal's world of wonders. Hope you had… a magical time. The hotels: Hotel rockstar Welcome to the all new hotel rockstar located right next to Universal studios Texas and Universal's world of wonders. This hotel is themed to fulfill all your musical needs. The exterior of the hotel is really bazaar shaped. The building seems to be a bunch of gigantic instruments standing near each other creating a giant block which is the hotel. On the left there will be a giant drum, followed by an electric guitar, and a vertical standing organ. On the right- the bass guitar. As you enter the hotel, the lobby that looks like the inside of a rock-band traveling van, you do your check in. The rooms are rooms for 4 persons (two large beds), and as an option you can add a children bed that is shaped as an electric guitar. The rooms themselves are fancy-looking Hollywood style rooms meaning: red carpet covers the floor, really clean and glamorous bathrooms etc. Along with those fancy things you can find that the small table that you have in the room is shaped as a loudspeaker, and the refrigerator looks like a sound control system. As an option with added fee you can choose to have a stereo system in your room with a built in karaoke mice. All rooms are sound proof so even if the room nearby plays loud music all night- you can sleep like a baby. The restaurant of the hotel that is called "food symphony" offers breakfast and dinner. The special feature of this restaurant- is that it each divided to 4 rooms. On each table there is a small screen on which you can choose what music you will like to hear (rock, pop, classic, jazz, etc). And you press the button. Each room will play the music that most of its residents chose to hear. Besides this restaurant there is the famous hard rock café where you can eat. Another special feature of the hotel is the guitar shaped swimming pool. In nights at the hotel there are karaoke evenings every day. Some days they are just karaoke evenings and some day they are singing competitions with a price. The last special feature of the hotel is the unique room called "Guitar hero room" Where several standings of the game will offer you to play for free for as long as you wish. That's it for the hotel rockstar… the next hotel is something totally different… a magical place to live in: the "burrow hotel". The burrow hotel Welcome to the burrow hotel. Influenced by J.k. rowling's book Harry potter, the burrow hotel offers a magical place to stay in. The exterior of the hotel is shaped as a muggle English block (like the block where grimold 12 is). The true magic is inside. As you enter you find out that this hotel is truly magical. For start- there are already moving pictures inside the main lobby. The staff wears robes etc. The rooms are shaped as Ron weasley's house the burrow. Each room has two large beds and a brown carpet. The bathroom looks old but yet they are cleaned. The main feature on the hotel is that it has all around things for you to use your wands on. You can also open you hotel door with your wand, shut the water in the bath with your wand, and even order food in the three broomsticks restaurant with your wand. The three broomsticks restaurant serves magic related food and drinks famous from the books, as well as English traditional dishes. The indoor pool of the hotel is also special because any time a water spray can come out from anywhere; you can also spray water in several locations in the pool by the fling of your wand. The three special features of the hotel are the following. -Movie nights: Each day of the week in night- a movie of harry potter is played in the movie room where a large screen lies. Each day of the week- a different movie (considering the fact that DH will be already released). -Duel field: There will be a dueling field divided to several arenas on which you can practice magic duels with you friends and family, on some occasions competitions will be held -Hobby quiddich field: The hobby quiddich field will not be the quiddich game from HP because no one can really fly a broomstick. But the game will be as close as possible to real quiddich and the kids and even adults will be able to play there. Well this is it for the burrow hotel… we are almost done exploring Universal Texas resort… Just one more thing: Universal's worldcity- the new citywalk. The new citywalk: Cityworld Cityworld is the nw kind of citywalk. Universal's famous entertainment street. Cityworld will be the new citywalk of Universal studios texas. The idea of Cityworld is to create a backstreet that holds varios types of restaurants and entertainment from all over the world. The dining options in Cityworld will be very large: You will have the opportunity to dine in one (or more) of those many restauramts: -Pizzeria Italiano: An Italian pizzeria -Shanzs' la' petit: A fancy French restaurant -Pong golden duck: A chinise restaurant -Roll Sushi: A japaniese atmosphere restaurant with a giant seletoion of Sushi -Mcclagen's house of beer: An irish pub which also holds a traditional irish dance party. -Al sallah de nur: a middle eastern restaurant focusing on meat -Del assado: A stake house with a south American atmosphere. -MExicanio: A Mexican restaurant. The entertainment opportunities will also be large: -A Spanish flamenco club -An American giant dance party club with rooms for: black music, disco, the beatles and more. -A knight dinner& show with medieval atmosphere. -A giant movie complex featuring the latest films in a giant screen -Live concerts. (Depends on date). -A Greek party with real plate breaking You will also be able to shop in lots of different shops themed to countries in the World mall. Each shop is devoted to a different country (the mall itself is circular so each shop will be placed where the country is on earth). In the middle of the mall there will be the Big Universal studios shop. Where you can buy all of the universal franchise that you didn’t had time to buy in the park. Well…. This is ciryworld… and this is the ending of the tour in Universal Texas resort. This is it... again i am sorry for lack of detail, i did the best i could under my boundries. Again feel free to ask for more information about an attraction. Hope that despite all you liked the idea and good luck to Costafreak. |

I'm sorry but I won't be able to turn it in on time, probably some time tomorrow or Sunday. The good news though is that the resort is loaded with detail and probably the best thing (at least in my eyes) that I've come up with yet.

Well, I'm anxiously awaiting your project, but this is kind of getting a little out of hand. Obviously being this late will make an impact in my decision for winner. Still, I really hope you pull off something awesome.

Well, it's been a week at this point. I'm going have to to have a cut-off sooner or later. CoastaFreak, I hate to do this, but basically you have the rest of the weekend.
