Default Season 3 Project 1

Welcome to your first project. This whole season will be all about pushing the bar. Were going to be doing projects you've never even dreamed you'd have to do. It will start small, and get harder, so you've been warned. Starting off with your first project, your task is to create a series of pins. The theme of this series can be anything, but they all have to have hidden mickeys. You Must make 4-6 pins and describe them all in detail

Requirements
You MUST design four to six pins
They MUST all have hidden mickeys in them
You MUST describe all pins in detail

Grading scale

Following Directions /30 (10 or no points for each MUST)
Creativity /10
Realism/Marketability /10
Total: /50

Extra Credit: +2 points for each image, limit five images (Note, you can do more than five images, the extra credit is just capped at 10 points)

Your project is due this Sunday, June 8th. As always it's -5 points for every day late

Actually they can be whatever theme you want, but must contain a hidden mickey within it. Im sure all you pin collectors know what im talking about here. I just think tiki got confused when i explained it to him. The are called Hidden Mickey Series Pins, usually only available to Cast Members but are now being sold in the parks in mystery pouches.

For example: this here is the DLR - 2008 Hidden Mickey Series - Alice In Wonderland Chess Collection (King of Hearts)

There are 6 in the set

so can we also do pins reffered to some game (like chess for example) and if we can so can we do only some of them reffered to a game and some just pins or do we have to stick with the game concept?

You can do whatever you want. I was just giving an example.

There are tons of Hidden Mickey Series Pins out there.

For Example heres the Mystery Pouch of the Silhouette pins. Two come in a pouch, but the whole set is pictured.

There is also this set:

No they do not. Those are not pins. They dont make special editions ones, or cast ones, so no.

What we're asking here is to create a set of special edition pins, and while there are special edition lanyard medals, they aren't pins. Whatever design you were going for can most likely turn into a pin, though. Also, as a judge, I'm going to say that i'll love pictures for this, and they'll help me visualize the pins alot.

I believe you are thinking of the pins on black rope lanyards, not medals you can attach to the bottom of pin lanyards. Those have LE ones. I have a 50th castle one that was given to CMs, and a Walt Disney Imagineering Imagineer Exclusive LE 300 Grand Opening day Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage one.

I pretty much understand the concept. Just a couple of questions, must it be Disney-related and do we include prices?

no prices, and yes Disney.

And Disneyfan, if you are talking about this http://www.treasurekingdom.com/mm5/m...&Store_Code=TK

Thats brand new and was open for everyone to buy. Its a limited edition yes, but its not a pin. They dont come in series, they arent rare to find, and they arent only available to cast members.

I have this:

If that is similar it what you were talking about
(Thats the Walt Disney Imagineering Imagineer Exclusive LE 300 Grand Opening Day Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage one.)

And for another example, here is my DLR Hidden Mickey Cast Lanyard Series Snowmen Set:
