Post Jungle Book Ride - Mowgli's Journey

The Exterior: You start by walking into King Louie's Temple, with real plants growing on the outside. You can hear the Jungle beat, which should help all visitors get ready to be raised by wolves, befriended by a bear, get down and boogie with a Monkey and so much more.

The Interior: When you enter the door to the ride you will see the inside of King Louie Temple, which have monkeys all around the big room. All of the handrails will be made to look like Bamboo. The walk way will look like dirt and leaves to make you feel like you are walking in the Jungle also with animal tracks. All of the vehicles look like Coconuts with a small looking steering wheel. (This wheel will allow rider to turn there vehicle 360 degrees to see all round the ride, just like Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin.)

The Ride:
You step into this Coconut, you go around the first Corner. You see the river bend with baby Mowgli inside with Bagheera standing over him looking down. "I know where to take this man cub." Around the bend you see baby Mowgli in front of a pack of wolves. Go around the corner and see Bagheera telling Mowgli, "I am taking you to Man Village." And Mowgli runs away. We come face to face with a friendly bear that teaches us the ways of the Bare Necessities. (Instrumental) As the music plays, our coconut spins on it's own. (Not fast.) And a rock nearly hits us. We go left and we see Baloo get hit on the head with a log by a tower of monkeys. And carrying away Mowgli, with Mowgli saying, "Baloo! Help!". We exit the ride and go outside to a courtyard with King Louie, Mowgli, Baloo and all the monkeys dancing to the song, "I Wanna Be Like You" with Bagheera overhead trying to reach Mowgli. We enter from outside hearing a big crash hearing as the building falls behind us. Going into a dark lightning room with vultures singing "That's What Friends Are For" with Shere Khan popping up from the tall grass saying, "Mmm, man cub.".We enter a dark room, our coconut stops, lightning striking and see Shere Khan jumping towards us, also Baloo grabbing his tail. We continue, we hear voices of falling down, getting scratched, attack and then we see a shadow of Shere Khan with fire on his tail and running away and in front of us a tree with Baloo laying on the ground. With a slight mist of water hitting us, as an effect of rain. We go around the corner and see Baloo, Bagheera and Mowgli hugging and then we see Mowgli looking at the Man Village with the girl by the river. Ride ends with a painting of Mowgli waving to Baloo and Bagheera walking to the man village.

I really like the creativity of your idea. The Jungle Book has always been the story that I thought had the most potential for success in the park and I believe your ride really tells it all. The only problem I found was that the ride was placed in King Louie's Temple and it would look quite awkward near the Temple of the Forbiden Eye.

Maybe there could be some extension in Adventureland where ride buildings are (backstage). Just maybe. I'm not sure.

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,
