Default Fantasmic! for Tokyo Disneyland: Open Brainstorming

I was thinking that Tokyo Disneyland should have a Fantasmic show of its own! It would go in Westernland, obviously.

Now, I think we need to mix and match from both of the stateside park shows for this version, as well as create brand-new scenes especially for this version. This version, for example, like DL's, would feature the Mark Twain Riverboat near the end. But I also want to have the "dancing bubbles" sequence from Florida's show, but with new and different scenes thrown in.

Any ideas?

Maybe we could combine Pink Elephants with Heffalumps and Woozles. Guests to Tokyo Disneyland are big on Pooh and Stitch, so maybe Stitch could do something minor in the show.

We can replace the Pinocchio portion to Stitch.

But we'd still have Pinocchio during the "dancing bubbles" scene. And, of course, there is the scene with Jiminy Cricket and Monstro.

I vote no for Fantasmic! in other parks. 2 in the world is enough.

This is a cool idea, I was thinking of placing a Fantasmic in Tokyo DisneySea but now that you menchain it, why not place it in Westernland? When the resort was built it wanted the best attractions & shows from both California & Florida & Fantasmic falls under that category. I don't think we should take scenes from the Florida Fantasmic, if we were to borrow scenes it would be have to be from California. But yeah I think we should be original but I'm not so sure about Stitch, it seems that he's taking over the Disney parks. Why not keep the beloved Pinocchio scene instead of replacing it? But thats just my two cents.

Yeah I'd rather keep the Pinocchio scene over a Stitch scene. Stitch is cool but not that cool, especially when he owns the planter outside World Bazaar and the Tiki Room. Maybe in the bubble sequence we can feature Stitch, Nani, and Lilo riding on a surfboard.

So what are we going to do for the Peter Pan/Pocahontas segment. Something new and exciting?

Well, we will be taking a few snippets from Florida, mainly the bubbles scene and maybe some of the villains. But most of the show will be borrowed mainly from the one in California.

For the Pinocchio scene, we could have the puppets dancing and then have Jiminy saying (in Japanese, of course, since this is Tokyo Disneyland, after all): "Pinocchio! We're down here!" Then we cue the dancing bubbles scene (but with maybe Lilo and Stitch replacing Pinocchio), culminating in the scene with Jiminy and Monstro.

Ah I see, so will this mean that Westernland will have to be renovated to fit in the seating. I'm just wondering since they say Westernland is based largely around Florida's Frontierland (which's Tom Sawyer Island was deemed to small for Fantasmic!) that we might have to take precautions to squeeze in the show.) We probably shouldn't go the stadium seating route similar to Florida, since the magic of Disneyland's Fantasmic is that the show isn't surronded by a huge amphitheatre making it seem more real.

Well, we could have Dr. Facilier join the villains against Mickey. And POTC could be used in place of Peter Pan (DL version) and Pocahontas (WDW version).
