Yeah I think I'll take on the task of the Haunted Mansion. And Haunted Mansion Holiday if we have that here, which I have some ideas for as well. I'm planning on some new treats for this mansion, including some improved scenes of the upcoming Mystic Manor attraction, re-tooled versions of classic mansion scenes and characters, and some scenes and characters never before seen in any mansion, mystic or phantom. Now is there a certain place we want to put this? That would actually help me out a lot in the design of the ride. Anywhere but Adventureland is fine with me.

And yes the subs will be the world's first underwater omnimover.

now, I wasn't thinking of an underwater omnimover, but awesome!

as for Haunted Mansion... we're starting to run out of options. Why don't we create a small villain land connected to Fantasyland and put it there? an annual tradition would be to let Jack Skellington and his lackies take over the land... if not a villain land, we'd have to create a brand new land

While everybody takes a ride to work on for Tomorrowland, we should all work out how the design should be... I was thinking it could be some sort of Big Apple/Times Square of Tomorrow with billboards for rides, stuff like that. Bubbles could be blown everywhere like in Meet the Robinsons. With that said, I think we could cut Star Tours from this park mainly because I want this Tomorrowland to have a bright Disney/Pixary look while maintaining Walt's optimism for the future. Something that would be cool is that at every hour, a "band of tomorrow" (whether it be jazz or rock) could hop aboard the People Mover and play while going through Tomorrowland. And I do think it would be cool if there could be at least one roller coaster criss-crossing the sky.

UPDATE: Okay, I just had a new idea. Space Mountain could be the biggest dome for two reasons. One would be the lengthy Space Mountain that runs inside. The second idea is because there could be another rocket ride that kids control similar to Astro Orbitor and similar rides. This ride would include flying saucers and rocket ships, and it would be held up by arms that protrude on one side, raising up to the ceiling-type canopy, which provides shade. Riders can control the height and how far it flies from the mechanism. Also, it could be used for a small five minute show as a laser or satellite dish. I'm not so sure how it would look though..

You can probably continue to have Star Tours, it does add some thrill to Tomorrowland, and even though it takes place in the past it does have some items that we would only see in the future. And who knows, Star Wars could have taken place in that galaxy but taken place in the future in the timeline of our own. No I'm not crazy, I don't believe that Star Wars is actually real.

As for the Haunted Mansion I'm not sure where to put it. I was really planning on the mansion resembling a giant cabin in the middle of a dense forest. Now the only land really suitable for that would be Frontierland or Critter Country, but both of those are ruled out for obvious reasons. Maybe we'll have to create a new land for it?

that is an interesting thought on Star Tours. That's one definitely in limbo as of now. If it won't go here (if), it would definitely go in a darker future area in another park like Worlds of Adventure.

Yes, we should have a new land for Haunted Mansion. I would say Main Street, but that must have been done on the boards before... We could probably go with a haunted land.

And I guess I can work on the roller coaster that crosses the skies...

How about a Meet the Robinsons ride that could be half dark ride and half motion simulator?

okay, so I haven't started the MtR ride yet, but just to let everyone know ahead of time, I will be creating two different rides. one will retell the story of the film, while the other will be something original, and we shall pick which one was the best.

Ok so for the Haunted Mansion I definitely want it to be set in a really old cabin of the Pacific Northwest, so the land it is in will have to be some kind of expansion to Frontierland.

The reason I want the mansion to be set in a dense forest of pines and redwoods is because I want it to kind of have the rain-washed and woodsy feel to it. The queue is also going to be very similar to the mansion's queue at Tokyo Disneyland, as seen in this video:

YouTube - Haunted Mansion (Tokyo Disneyland) Pt. 1

I am planning some really big surprises for this mansion, including an expanded and highly detailed queue, new effects and characters, a new ordering of the show scenes, and some new scenes never before seen in any other mansion out there. There will also be somewhat copies of Mystic Manor scenes in there as well, only they will be ghost-i-fied.

In "The Haunted Mansion: A Nightmare Before Christmas," all of the new scenes will be made to fit the characters of Tim Burton's classic film and poem. The overlay and experience will be much different than all the other mansion overlays out there as most of the scenes are different and I am coming up with some ideas to improve the ideas already used in the overlay today.

Expect to see the regular mansion sometime soon.

This should really be a functioning city of tomorrow with the PeopleMover or whatever form of transportation tracks between the buildings, robots seen in display windows performing daily routines such as vacuuming the floor, cooking dinner, etc., advertisements for the latest model of rocketships in the windows and building sinage, and other good stuff like that.

Ok so here is a brief and rough show order for the Haunted Mansion as of right now.

1. The Grounds
2. The Foyer
3. The Stretching Room
4. The Portrait Corridor
5. The Armory
6. The Endless Hallway
7. The Library
8. The Music Room
9. The Grand Staircase
10. Spider Nest
11. The Parlor
12. The Conservatory
13. The Corridor of Doors
14. Seance Circle
15. The Grand Hall
16. The Attic
17. The Graveyard
18. The Crypt

I'm thinking about putting the mansion in Critter Country but more on that later...
