That's a myth. It doesn't always rain here on the coast!

That's true, but Vancouver I think would be great. The only problem is that it's close (r) to Anaheim. I'd chose Alberta or another middle province, if not B.C.

I vote for Alberta. Although right now it is -40. LOL. Nah just last week. But it would be pretty hard to have it open 365, it would work although during the winter months it would probably lose alot of customers. I'd vote no on Edmoton or Calgary. True they are the largest cities and thats the problem no room for expansion plus the traffics allready bad enough. I would put my vote on... Out in the country somewhere, maybe 30-45 min drive outside of the city.
Although defintly closer to BC. Although it tends to get a little mountainous in that direction.

Sorry, this is my mind in thinking mode.

I was actually just going to open up a Disney's America type thread, except Disney's Canada. So come on over fellow Canukians and let's brainstorm.

Quebec..... Would attract both Canedians and US tourist alike... the city is allready so attractive (historic) and then Disney there, somewhere... could be the very first Disney park with REAL rocks inside the park!! (Along the river) :)
Geographycally Anaheim, Orlando and Quebec could reach equal parts of population.
And REINVENT everything, no copying of whatever before... Provide winter cover on a huge scale !

It does sound like a good idea. However, the park needs to be built on adapting the climate and weather of the surrounding place.

Of coarse it needs to be adapted to the climate... that, exactly, will force it to be different (and unique).

Disney requires a warm climate all year long. Canada does not have that.

says who?????? all you have to do is adapt the park to suit the climate, sure your going to lose some profit during winter months but if it's designed right people can still enjoy it during the winter.

Well the park has to be opened 365 days a year, IMO. That was part of Walt's dream and goal when building Disneyland, so the same should be applied to this.
Also, I can draw up any concept art that needs to be done.
