Here it is now; prepare to make sail for my newest inclusion:
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN This venerable Disney classic is found in Adventureland, in a subsection of that area called Caribbean Plaza. It's more or less the same themed area as in Florida, with themes toward the English and Spanish colonies on the West Indies during the eighteenth century. Also like in Florida, the ride is housed in what is known as El Castillo. And it features a lot of the same shops and restaurants. However, that's where the similarities end. Unlike Caribbean Plaza in Florida, the Caribbean Plaza here looks much the worse for wear, as if suggesting that the pirates had long since invaded successfully. As a result, while looking remarkably similar to Caribbean Plaza in Florida, here, the Plaza looks much more ominous. So anyway, you enter the ride queue, first by passing by the ride title on a huge sail on a piece of mast, then by entering El Castillo, an ominous-looking Spanish fortress. You enter by way of a secret entrance near the armory. As an eerie overture to "Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life For Me)" plays in the background, you go through the fort's dark dungeons, arsenals, hidden treasure caches chock full of enough booty to make any buccaneer wild with lust and certain important peoples' offices, including one belonging to one Lord Cutler Beckett and another belonging to Governor Swann. One dungeon has the skeletal remains of two inmates forever engaged in a game of chess. Emerging from the fort, you find yourself above a boat dock (known as "Silver's Landing") at night on an elevated wooded footpath that crosses over a bridge that goes over a river. This river leads out onto a beachfront dead ahead. On the other side of the river, you then board a wooden bateau sitting in the dock, which appears to be owned by the East India Trading Company, as it has the E.I.C. logo on the side of the boat. As you board the boat, you hear the sound of a pirate-type voice providing the safety spiel: "Ahoy, mateys! For a safe voyage, please be remainin' seated, keepin' your hands, arms, feet and legs inside the boat. And watch your children. And remember, no smokin' or flash pictures at any time. So prepare to make sail and off ya go!" The boat then departs Silver's Landing and floats forward through the beachfront, past the Blue Lagoon restaurant, serenely cruising through the remains of a demolished ship wreckage. Fish are seen swimming in the water and jumping out of it every now and then as an octopus lies in wait half-submerged in the water, trying to catch them. You then pass by a sign pointing the way to Port Royal, which just so happens to be where you're going. You then pass below a tall rocky archway, right between two pirate skeletons hanging from it in nooses. Next to the arch, a sign reads, "Pirates Ye Be Warned". You then pass by a sandy seashore with a pirate character named Honest Marooned Pete, who has been removed from the ride concept early on. He acts as a huckster and shows off his wares of ill-gotten booty. He also provides a map. "Follow the X to the treasure," he says with a laugh. Suddenly, the tranquility of the scene is shattered by the sound of cannonfire off in the distance. You then enter Port Royal's rampart, the entrance to which has the flag of the Jolly Roger on it. The skull on the flag comes to life and provides the exact same monologue it gives as the talking skull at Disneyland, with a little bit of the WDW dialog thrown in as well. Entering the rampart (and passing below the skull), you then enter pass right through a standard scene of a ship-to-shore battle between a pirate ship offshore and the fort. Barbossa is seen on the ship, alternately ordering his crew to fire on the fort and yelling at the British soldiers in the fort to reveal the whereabouts of the town's treasury. Unlike other versions of the ride, the scene leading to the well is reached this time by entering a huge hole in the fort wall, no doubt made by the cannonfire from the ship. As you go through the hole, you then find yourself in town. You go by a scene of a well, which has been overtaken by the ornery band of buccaneers, who has taken several men in the town prisoner. They are being led to the well. One of them, Governor Swann, another character from the movie (replacing the mayor Carlos), is already tied to the well, and is being pressured by the pirate captain again and again to reveal the whereabouts of the treasure. But every time Swann refuses to come clean, he is dunked into the well (he already has lost his wig from a few too many dunkings), much to the pirates' delight as they all laugh at his predicament. One pirate is even underscoring the ordeal with a flute he is playing. In the building adjacent to the well, a nondescript woman looks out her second-story window with shutters and, watching the ordeal below, begs Swann not to expose anything. A third pirate is leveling his shotgun at the woman and fires, but misses. Screaming, the woman retreats back into her room, shutting the shutters behind her as she goes. The pirates then resume the interrogation. Behind them, a certain pirate named Captain Jack Sparrow is seen hiding from the pirates. He is inconspicuous to the other pirates, but conspicuous enough to be spotted by you in the boat. Passing by this scene, you then go past the exact same scene of the auction, involving pirates taking the women in town for brides. The buccaneers have captured some of the finest ladies in town. A huge banner is hanging from the marketplace entrance: "AUCTION – Take a Wench For a Bride". The ladies are being brought before a dignified-looking pirate who is playing the role of auctioneer. He is offering the first lady in line, a rather portly-looking and optimistic female eager to land a husband, even at the expense of her freedom, to the random pirates across the way on the other side of the river. However, they seem to be taken more of a fancy to the next lady in line: a flirtatious and sultry redhead, waiting delightfully to be sold. This is an exact replica of the scene in all other versions of the ride: characters, scenery, props, audio loop, the works. Drifting under the bridge with the two drinking pirates on it, you then go ever further into town, where you see some pirates are chasing women and others vice-versa, including one large woman chasing a goofy-looking pirate with her arms reaching out toward him. Sitting at the base of this street is the Pooped Pirate holding in the one hand the same treasure map that Honest Marooned Pete had shown you early on and a big golden key, presumably to the treasure, in the other. The Pooped Pirate boasts about how neither Jack Sparrow (who is ironically hiding in the top of a stack of barrels right behind him) nor anyone else will ever find the town's treasure and that he'd give anything to see the look on Sparrow's face when that happens. Sparrow, who is hiding in the barrels as mentioned earlier, ducks back down when a dog that is looking up the barrels to Sparrow sees him and barks, but the Pooped Pirate takes no heed as he carries on his bragging. Nearby, you see Old Bill as he tries to share a spot of rum with a pair of mangy alley cats. Now you proceed through the usual scene of the very heart of town, the part that the pirates have set ablaze. Of course, it is obvious that these pirates don't really give a darn on they're doing; they're all either too drunk, too happy or too silly or any of the above as they all sing the theme song, "Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life For Me)" and go about their looting and plundering in their drunken stupor, blissfully unaware that they are in deep doodoo. Here again, the scene is exactly the same as all other scenes: the pirate minstrels performing the song, with various animals joining in, such as a dog and a donkey; the two pirates arm-in-arm standing next to a lamppost holding torches; one pirate leaning on a second lamppost; another pirate with one foot on the dock and the other in a boat, his hands full of loot and a whole stack of hats atop his head; another pirate asleep with some pigs snuggling up to him; and another pirate sitting on a bridge above the river holding a jug, with his somewhat hairy leg dangling over the bridge, with a parrot nearby. The only thing different here is how the fire in the town is presented: the only obviously fake fire is on the torches but the fires on the windows look as real as possible (and not mere flapping curtains); though the fires might have to be computerized, a la the Davy Jones screen. This improved effect will be added to all other versions of the ride worldwide. Passing below the pirate with his hairy leg dangling over the bridge, you then make your way up a lift hill that resembles a cargo ramp mechanism. Here, you hear for the first time, the classic ghostly wails of "Dead men tell no tales!" as you go up. At the top, you go through the town's upper level, where you see pirates trying to invade the town by climbing over the wall. You then enter the fort's prison, where the fires are advancing on a trio of pirates imprisoned in the cell, with the grinning guard dog holding the keys to their cell in his mouth and stands just out of reach of them. The pirates all try to urge the dog to surrender the keys so they unlock the cell and beat it, but the dog just pays no attention to their futile pleas. You then go through the combination treasury and arsenal, where you see two British soldiers tied together to two chairs. This scene combines the respective finales of both California and Florida, as the rascals, scoundrels, villains and knaves have found their way into the big room. Some of the pirates sit upon the mounds of ill-gotten booty inside the treasury, while others, all hopped up (or is that down?) on rum, all take pot shots at each other from both ends of the river and at the various barrels full of explosives scattered here and there. As a result, all of the pirates from both scenes in the ride appear here, including Billie Howe leaning on the pulley holding up the block and tackle that holds the bunch of explosive barrels aloft, and Mr. Coote sprawling on the cannon. Here, the boat slows down much slower and the whole room starts to glow as if the fires have caught up with this room. Meanwhile, you make your way toward a big black entryway at the end of the room. You go through the entryway as "Dead Men Tell No Tales!" sounds out louder than ever, accompanied by random flashes that spell certain doom for the villains and the town... The arsenal/treasury room now behind you is completely engulfed in flames. Without warning, there is a dramatic cataclysmic explosion from behind you. At the exact split-second time as the explosion, you plunge down a long, 52-foot waterfall, the explosion still ringing all around you. As you land at the base of this waterfall, however, the explosion from the explosives now turns into a completely different kind of explosion: thunderclaps of stormy weather. You now have entered the haunted caverns seen at the beginning of the ride in Disneyland, with the ghostly echo of "Dead men tell no tales!" still ringing away. You then go by a rock formation that looks like a skull and then pass through the screen waterfall image of Davy Jones, who taunts you with the exact same dialog as in California. You then go through the exact same sequence of events as in California (instrumentals of "Yo Ho" and all). First, you go by the Grotto entryway, where you see the skeletal remains of two pirates on the beach, accompanied by a pair of squawking seagulls, one of whom has made a nest in one of the pirates' big hats. It is here you here Paul Frees' "No fear have ye of evil curses..." line repeatedly. Next you go by Hurricane Lagoon, featuring the ghost ship steered by the skeletal pirate captain. Here, the wind is howling and is very stormy here. Then you go by the Crew's Quarters, where you see the skeletal remains of a pirate crew endlessly having some alcohol at a rundown tavern, laughing and whooping. One skeleton's endless swig of firewater is especially significant as the liquid is visible pouring down his throat. Even the portrait of the sultry redhead from the Auction scene is visible as well. Now you travel through the Captain's Quarters, which is the private quarters of the spectral crew's captain. You see him sitting up in his bed surrounded by the successes of a life of treachery and ill-gotten gains. He is holding a magnifying glass in his bony hand and looking at a treasure map, while his skeletal parrot looks on from beside him. Nearby, the harpsichord pounds out the ride's classic anthem. Now you go past the Treasure Room, complete with the cursed chest from the movies. Here you see the pirate skeleton sitting atop a whole pirate ship load of the ill-gotten riches of gold, doubloons, pieces of eight, jewelry and virtually everything that brought the pirates to this sorry little end. At the very end, you see a skeletal Captain Jack Sparrow positioned the same way as in the end of the ride now at Disneyland in a second Treasure Room. He says the exact same dialog as there. This part of the grotto has a hole in it, exposing the sky outside. The moon's ray is shining down on him, exposing his skeletal form, but other than that, his scene is more or less the same. His dialog seems to suggest that his search for the treasure has literally paid off. You then emerge from the cave and end up back at Silver's Landing, where you hear the pirate-type from at the beginning say: "When your boat stops, step out carefully." You do step out carefully and leave the ride, making your way through a different part of the fort. Upon emerging, you find yourself inside a pirate-themed gift shop (surprise, surprise) called "Pirate Bazaar". And so concludes your ride on Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland Australia. What do you think of it?

First off nice Alice in Wonderland ride and nice Pirates! It seemed like a more advanced version of my Pirates I designed at HKDL. By the way will if feature an indoor 52 foot drop or an outdoor 52 drop? Because if it features an outdoor drop that would seem kind of weird with Splash Mountain in the same park also. I will add Pirates and everything else to the Adventureland roster.

Here is the rough draft of Adventureland.
Adventureland- Here is adventure, here is romance, here is mystery. Tropical rivers silently flow into the unknown. The unbelievable splendor of exotic flowers...the eerie sounds of the jungle... bloodthirsty pirates pillaging and plundering innocent sea ports...tiki gods and lost souls wonder the earth...with eyes that are always watching. Exotic colors catch the eye among the lush jungle landscape. Rustic colonial architecture built from broken ship parts, bazaars straight out of the pages of "Arabian Nights." Don your pith helmet and enter the land where the beat of native drums and pirate sea chanties echo around you. One quick turn can lead to the tropical magic of Hawaii (Stitch's Enchanted Tiki Room), ancient temples and remote islands (Indiana Jones Adventure), the exotic rivers of the world (Jungle River Cruise), and the sea adventures of the Caribbean (Pirates of the Caribbean). Here is Adventureland, a wonderland of nature's own design. Attractions and Entertainment 1. Indiana Jones Adventure Temple of the Nightmare King (Opening ten years after the park opens)- Join Professor Indiana Jones deep in the jungles of a deserted island in search of the forbidden Temple of the Nightmare King. It's 1941 and Jones sends you on a search for the fabled Observatory of the Future. Brave guests board well-worn transport jeeps that take them into the subterranean world where they have an unfortunate encounter with the temple's evil deity, the Nightmare King. Forced to flee, guests narrowly escape a collapsing bamboo bridge, giant snakes, thousands of rats, tons of booby-traps, and the prospect of being crushed by a five ton boulder! 2. Stitch's Enchanted Tiki Room- Thousands of years ago, the natives of Adventureland built a lush tribute to their beloved tiki gods before their mysterious disappearance years after. Hundreds upon hundreds of years later, an entire flock of tropical birds found residence in the shrine, becoming enchanted by the room's magic, and giving them the power to speak, sing, and crack jokes. So the "owners" of the newly dubbed Enchanted Tiki Room have opened the tiki room to the public, offering a wonderful experience where the birds sing words and the flowers croon. But beware a mysterious "bird-eating" blue monster has been causing trouble in the enchanted tiki room, and no one has been brave enough to meet this little monster. Could it be you? 3. Jungle River Cruise- The Jungle River Cruise hosts would-be explorers aboard its excursions into the darkest of the world's jungles. From the safety of your launch, witness the gathering of lions as they make their kill, catch a rare glimpse of the "lost safari," or even escape a suprise head hunter attack, all with the help of your wise-cracking skipper, don't worry though, he knows the jungle like the back of his hand, I think. 4. Pirates of the Caribbean- Set sail with the wildest crew to ever sack the Spanish main, aboard the high seas adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean. You'll encounter fun-loving rogues in search of their enemy, Captain Jack Sparrow, and a fortune in cursed booty. From the mysterious grottos of Davy Jones' locker, to the rambunctious buccaneers plundering a seaport village. Pirates of the Caribbean is a memorable adventure for seafarers of all ages, where "dead men tell no tales." Shopping and Dining 5. Adventureland Bazaar 6. Crocodile Cargo Company 7. Indiana Jones' Archaeologist Outpost 8. The Crow's Nest 9. Pirate Bazaar 10. Restaurantosaurus 11. Amazon John's Seafood Shack 12. El Pirata Y el Perico Restaurante 13. Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost

No, the drop won't be outdoors, just indoors. Actually, did you know that the first drop on Pirates in Disneyland is also 52 feet? That's the same rough height as the main Splash Mountain drop. The difference is the steepness of said drop.

"Indiana Jones Adventure Temple of the Nightmare King"
Eh, new name please. There's too much imo, and it doesn't sound "Indy Jones-like". "Millions of years ago.." Shouldnt that be thousands?

Nightmare King makes as much sense as Crystal Skull or Forbidden Eye to me.

I'm not going to go back and change everything in the script, think about it. Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. What the heck? Forbidden Eye sounds just as silly as the Nightmare King. Anyhow how are your projects coming along everyone?

I was thinking, when we are all done with our lands, why don't we make a big firework spectacular (Remember Dreams Come True) show for the grand opening of Disneyland Australia. You just type up a little script of all the words spoken and all the songs played? Is it a good idea or no? Anyhow, I would like to include some sort of Muppet attraction, and no it doesn't have to be Muppet Vision 3D. Anyone know where to put it?

Hmmm, would they really make sense in Tomorrowland? They really live in the present. Maybe the Muppet Mobile Lab can go around Main Street or Toon Town or something. Or maybe even better, the Muppets can have their own prominent attraction in the second theme park, maybe a studio themed land. Which reminds me, what should the second theme park be? I was thinking something completely new and original.

Before you go, a question: I'm grappling with whether or not to include Captain Hook's pirate ship in Fantasyland and make the nearby Skull Rock part of the Storybook Land Cruise. My question is, should they be included?
