America Sings Critter Country Brainstorm

Do you want America Sings back? There is a possiblity. Look at the underused Critter Country, and think. America Sings, animals that sing.....hmm......sounds like Splash Mountain. It would fit perfectlly here (except for some modifications)!

Let me think, well you (MrPotatoHead) know that some of us have planned a Three Little Pigs attraction to take over the Pooh building, where would this go? I think the only logical place would be to either expand beyond the berm which would be kind of challenging as there isn't much room back there, or to demolish one of the Hungry Bear floors to make room for it. I'm not saying its a bad idea, I'm just saying it would be hard to find a spot for it.

If we ever do find a spot for it, I'll help write the show. :)

Possibly over under Hungry Bear (only if there is enough room)?

I suppose the bottom floor of the Hungry Bear would be the best place for it, we would just have to move the bathrooms somewhere else, like the Briar Patch or something. Demolishing the bottom floor would also make the need for food in Critter Country larger so we would have to bring back the mile long bar or something, and rid of that Pooh Mall.

Splash Mountain can't lose any animatronics, or we would just be sailing through dark swamps of nothing. As for the show we should keep the level of birds down, there are plenty of feathered folk in Splash Mountain, and the planned Pigs' ride.

I have just been seized by inspiration, what if the show was like a swamp hoedown hosted by an alligator named Cousin Jed, and he introduces us to his family of geese, crocodiles, bears, flamingoes, coyotes, foxes, hens, possums, coons, rats, rabbits, swamp monsters, pigs, and frogs. I think I am going to type up a script for this and post it here, if that is ok with everyone.

You know I am really obsessed with animatronic music shows made by Disney, I keep writing a new Country Bear show for DCA, lol.

Maybe you can have a picture of Sam and his owl friend. This could be something to remember them by, from the original America Sings.

This sounds like the title would suit better as Southern Sounds, or something like that, instead of America Sings. Do you think this could be a good idea?

Maybe we can have the weasel the keeps saying, "Pop goes the weasel! He he he he he." Yes? No? Maybe so?

"Pop goes the weasel!" I love that weasel, I am so glad I just recently discovered him in Splash Mountain, and there are a lot of them! Just to clarify about Sam and Ollie they are actually prominent roles in my three little pigs attraction I am planning to take over Pooh with. Sam is the mayor of Critter Country while Ollie is the sherrif. Here is a list of possible names for this deep south version of America Sings:

Critter Country Hoedown
Southern Sounds (Sesshomaru-sama)
Critter Cabaret (May sound a bit too similar to a beloved food concert)
Journey Through the South
Cousin Jed's Swamp Jubilee

And that's all I can really think of right now, if nobody minds I am going to post a script for my version of the show soon, but probably not today I have church and a quick trip to Disneyland.

Hmm... with Three little Pigs and America Sings, I would only pick one. Personally, I would pick America Sings. With some modifications (that I know you guys can come up with), America Sings would be awesome. Besides, with Three Little Pigs, the name and theme suggests something very tame, but on the inside it is an Alien Encounter-like show. Also, I wouldn't take Winnie the Pooh out. It fits the Critter Country theme so perfectly. I would make serious alterations to it, though.
