Star Tours 2

Rumors about a new version of Star Tours have been going around for years now. I know there have been several threads about this rumor. Whenever someone in the know let's slip some little tidbit of information about this a new thread pops up...

Today Alain Littaye posted a nice history of all the rumors surrounding this on his blog Disney and More: Star Tours 2 ? This seemed to me like a good post to start an "official" Star Tours 2 rumor thread.

I really hopes this happens soon. Disney needs to either replace Star Tours or bring it into the future. Great article, though :)

Very interesting details. But as usual, no names just a vague reference to "strong sources" who are "hinting at" an upcoming announcement "probably" May 1st.

This is truly exciting. This new Star Tours seems unlike anything we've ever seen in our lives :)

Here is my idea for Star Tours:

Create three totally different ride sequences. They could be:
Endor
Tattoine
and
Coruscant

Each simulator chooses a different sequence at random. You never know what flight you'll get untill your on board!

Well... Since it is a rumor, and a very nice one at that, I am going to sit and wait patiently until May of this year for any kind of announcement by Disney. Thanks Ez!

Even 3 ride sequences will seem old after even just 5 years of riding. There's a reason why Haunted Mansion, Small World & other attractions are still fun after 40+ years.
