So its not an actual disney site. Just a rumor, sounded like you said it was a disney site in the first post.

Yes, I know that there are a billion people. But how many of those billion brutally oppressed people have the means to attend a Disney park? All this will do is boost China's tourism and continue to feed the beast.

At the same time, we will let more deserving nations and sections of the world know just how much we appreciate them by tossing another park to the worlds last communist superpower.

If you have a political objection to supporting China's economy, then I'd recommend not going to Hong Kong or Shanghai Disneyland. Try a tremendous Disney Resort in a capitalistic company like Japan for instance instead.

absolutely. I mean... South America is a tourism powerhouse, as is Australia. Why another is China. They dont even manage the one they have well. The Japanese, on the other hand are doing a far better job.

Cool Still nothing.

Well, the Olympics are over.

Michael Phelps had his homecoming parade at Walt Disney World.

Still no word on Shanghai Disneyland.

Maybe if Phelps does his swim-down-Main-Street thing again perhaps there'll be an announcement then.
I'm not holding my breath, though.
