Question Indiana Jones 5 and 6?

I don't know if any of you have heard about this too, but about a month or two ago, I saw a video on YouTube telling about maybe having an Indiana Jones 5 and 6. Have any of you heard about this? My mom told me that Harrison Ford is done making the Indiana Jones movies. So if they DO make a 5 and 6, they would have to be about his son from the fourth movie.

i hope not

i liked the trilogy the way it was. the 4th movie really didnt hit the spot the way an Indy movie should. I could only imagine 5 and 6 would be the same.
Besides, no movie is an Indy movie without Harrison Ford.

I really hope not. I didn't care much for the last one and I don't trust sequels that go beyond two very well.

Well, Harrison Ford is the one and only Indiana Jones. The 4th movie was ok though in my opinion. It was just kind of confusing.

Unfortunately, I don't think the old man has another two movies in him. Besides, based on the last one, I think even a fifth would be overkill.

Last I heard, via theraider.net, there was the possibility of a 5th. Harrison Ford said he was interested, but that it would have to be a good script for him to agree. I have also heard that they will not do a Mutt-only movie yet, because they do not feel he is a popular enough character yet to carry the whole film.

Far as I'm concerned, Harrison Ford COULD continue as Indy. I liked the more personal/professional side of Indy in the Crystal Skull. More of a chance to show his knowledge rather than just the non-stop action (which is certainly not a bad thing either).

I agree. I don't see any reason why Harrison Ford couldn't continue to play Indy for the rest of his life. Indy obviously ages but the character would no doubt be involved in something interesting no matter what his age. Sure the stories would need to keep evolving to take into account Indy's physical changes, but what would the character be doing at age 80? I would love to know.

^ It would be interesting to know, and honestly, I wish there would be a 5th with him in it. He's an awesome Indiana Jones and to bring his son into it so soon after only knowing who he was in the fourth would be kind of dumb.

Go back and check out the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. They use a 90-year-old old Indiana Jones to introduce the stories. It's not Harrison Ford, unfortunately, although he does make an appearance in one episode. They're actually pretty fun to watch!

I don't mind them making 5 and 6, just as long as they are realistic. Because I mean come on, aliens... honestly?? At least the first 3 were actually realistic.

You really think the first 3 were realistic!!

Also they pretty much said at the end of the 4th that he would be taking over the series. More or less...
