Totally. And they have the world's shortest and most painful roller coaster. It's a kiddie ride, and the track itself is really short, but they make you go around 7 times. Talk about whiplash!

Default disney land

i heard they are building a disney land in frisco because it is exactly half way between orlando and la.. it is possible because texas already has like 7 theme parks. we are building a 500 million dollar football stadium. i think we can handle a disney land.

We certainly have a lot of theme parks, and there's a reason: three seasons of the year, Texas has th perfect weather for a theme park. It's just the season of (blank) called Summer that would dissuade visitors without proper AC/misters/cooling. And if you can do that, Texas is perfect.

However, as you mentioned: we have 7 theme parks already. We'd have to compete with them all. It would take nothing short of a second WDW (minimum three parks and at least two water parks) to do that, and theme parks are already suffering in this market (there have been rumors of of Six Flags over Texas closing, which I wouldn't mind because I live closer to Six Flags Fiesta Texas anyway, and that one's better hands down).

not to mention, they have already said they will NOT BUILD ANOTHER AMERICAN DISNEY PARK. Maybe in a few years once they realize we really can't afford to fly cross country to them, they'll add another, but I wouldn't bank on it, okay?

It sucks in the Pac-Northwest the two closest actual parks are SF: Wild Waves/Enchanted village Tacoma, Washington and Silverwood in Coure de Alene, Idaho, and both of those aren`t up to par with a disney or a "normal" Six Flags, fortunately Silverwood in Idaho has two killer rollercoasters (yes count them one, two)

I wouldn't mind a Texas park, it's better that going to Six Flags Over Texas all the time.

Where did you hear that? Even though SFFT is better (I'll agree with you there), SFOT is the ORIGINAL Six Flags. You'd think they have enough common sense to close it last..
