Question Questions for DaddyB

Hey there, Daddy!

I just love your weekly (if not more often) desktop update!!!

It just leaves me wondering how you get to go to the park so much. If these questions are too much, just say so, and I'll understand. But a little DaddyB history would be awesome! So, here are the questions...

1.) Do you live REALLY close do Disneyland? (That would be SO COOL)
2.) Are you retired? I haven't looked up your age on your profile yet, so I don't know if you're in that age range...
3.) What did/do you do for a living? Are/were you a photographer as a job?
4.) How often do you go to the park?
5.) After being to the park so many times, do you still look forward to it as much as ever?

Thanks, and keep those pictures coming!

Hans

You might have better luck getting a response by sending daddyb a PM.

I know I'm easier to get ahold of through PM's

Thumbs down True...

Yeah, I think you may be right!

I understand why those questions might not be answered, though... they are kind of personal. I just think it would be SO AWESOME to get to go to Disneyland every single week!

I hope I get to retire to that area and just go all the time. Actually, I am planning on it!

:)

hmmm... well, I just stumbled across this post.

Here's a quick answer to your questions:

1) no
2) no
3) Mortgage Lending, and no
4) Anywhere from once every other week, to 4 times in one week. It depends on how family life works out, what's happening at the resort (special events, announcements and such), who has set up meets that I want to attend, if I'm hired to take some pictures of a family or couple at the park, and who might be visiting me from out of town that wants to go to the resort.
5) no

That last question may shock a lot of Disneyland Nuts, but the reality is that I used to live in Northern California (having moved there to go to college from a small town called Kennebunkport, Maine). I would make the trip down to Disneyland every chance I got, which ended up being 4-5 times a year. THOSE trips were the most looked forward to. This was also during the mid-to-late 80's and 90's which was much more Disneyland's "golden years" than the first part of this decade. There was a lot more to look forward to, and there was still a lot of the classic Disneyland to ride, as well as the new rides of Star Tours, Captain EO, and later Indy Jones. Dancing at the Videopolis with whatever hot chick I could talk into making the trip with me was also something to look forward to.

So can going every week compare to that? No.

But it's also, as you might expect, very, very, different. Do I look forward to it with excitement? You Betcha!
