I can't get my movie uploaded

I finally have the Goofy Parade saved onto my computer, but I don't know how to get it onto this site. I have tried uploading it in the gallery, but whenever I try to submit it, it takes me to a "this page cannot be displayed" screen. It is saved as an AVI file that plays with Windows Media Player, so I don't know if that is the problem or not. Please tell me what to do.

You have 20 megs in you Gallery, if your video is larger than 20 megs, then you need to PM Chris to arrange an FTP upload.

Also it needs to be encoded in Window's Media Viedo Format (.wmv). To do this, you can use a simiple encoder or Microsoft Movie Maker.

also lower the bitrate to make the file smaller.

TopCat, were you able to get the filesize down smaller? I know you originally had it at 200+ megs and that's simply too large. If you can get it into a smaller size I can arrange an FTP upload for you.

When I encode I use Windows Media Encoder. Go for a total bitrate of 250. This will still keep 29fps and a decent video size. For some reason it chooses 62k for audio, I lower that to 48/32 - that gives a little extra overhead to the video.
