Default Candelight?

Has anyone ever gotten a good video of Candelight at Disneyland? If so, could it be posted? I keep telling my friends about it, and nobody knows what I'm talking about.

I would think that it is short for Candlelight ceremony

I brought it up and gave a short description of it on a post earlier today in my Chanukah thread today
http://www.visionsfantastic.com/foru...3175#post23175

But I haven't experienced it personally so if there are any clarifications about it from people who've been there(although some minor stuff changes year to year), then they might have some more insight.

The Candlelight Processional takes place two days in December (two shows per night) and features a huge choir made up of CM's and choirs from local schools and churches. The walk up a very dark Main Street carrying lighted candles and gather on the Train Station. They are accompanied by a live orchestra and sing traditional Christmas songs. A celebrity narrator reads the Christmas story from the Bible. The past two years Marie Osmond has been the narrator. Past celebrity narrators include Gregory Peck, Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant and James Earl Jones. Words can't even describe how emotional and powerful it is.

I went for the first time last year and it was awesome. It's by far one of the best experiences I've ever had in Disneyland. It's one of the best shows Disneyland has ever put on. It's also one of the parks oldest traditions. It has been going on every Christmas since 1959.

I would love to see a video of last year's show. I have looked all over and have never found a video form any past show.

Does anyone know the exact dates for this year? I am trying to plan a trip in december, and would love to see this if the timing was right. Thanks

I've heard it will be on December 3rd and 4th. I don't think that has been confirmed by Disney. However, those seem like the real dates because last year's was also on the first Friday and Saturday of December.

I must make a small correction in my post. The first Candlelight was in 1958 not 1959. I was thinking 1958, but the 8 and 9 are awful close on my keyboard and I was typing fast!
