VF Radio Podcast?

Hi, all. In the spirit of always trying to come up with something new for VF Radio, I've been contemplating the idea of introducing a VF Radio Podcast, that would be available for a quasi weekly or (more likely) monthly download
, from the VF Radio webpage.

So, the poll question is simply, would you listen to a VF Radio podcast, and if so, I'd like you to reply to this thread with what you would like to hear included in the podcast.

Keep in mind, the VF Radio podcast, if created, would be an extended Eye on the Site netcast already present on VF Radio.

I would love to hear the on-ride recordings (California Screamin, Submarine)
Or the area loops

Maybe each month will be a different land of a park with the attraction recordings and area loops that are in that area

Sounds like a swell idea. As I tune into VF Radio pretty often, I'd definitely listen to it.

As for what should be in it, you should check into the Character Breakfast Podcast for a good reference on what a Disney podcast can include. It should have fun segments, for sure, and news of course.

Recording from the parks would be a nice bit, too, if there were someone to narrate or commentate.

A podcast would be a great addition to VF. I would listen to every one of them.

I always love hearing any music and/or on-ride audio from both DL and DCA.

You could mix it up from time to time with trip reports, park/attraction updates and news.

I always find it interesting to hear the CM's point of view, so maybe there would be a way to work that in once in awhile with an occasional interview.

I have faith that whatever you came up with, it would be worth hearing.

I found (can't remember ) a guy that was podcast from the park. He would walk around and describe stuff, you could hear people around him..and sometimes he talked to people, then put it up as a podcast.

Anyway...I would listen for sure.

I'm a TWiT army member, but I'll gladly make room for a VF podcast. And they're right, have fun sections, news sections (maybe comment on some recent posting in the News Center), and then maybe do a section with a new track/a park recording/or a song most of us probably haven't heard before that you'd introduce us to and end the podcast with. or you could have 30-second blurbs between each segment.

I think you're talking about either Paul Barrie, Jr. with his podcast, "A Window To The Magic". He does Disneyland Resort.

There's also Ricky Brigante, who does "Inside The Magic". He's based out of Orlando, and does mostly WDW-centered items.

My thoughts exactly, though you wouldn't want to make the whole podcast VF-specific or it's hard for it to draw people to the site through them liking the podcast. And iTunes is no the only one who does Podcast directories.

I'm thinking of an extended type of Eye on the Site; The Eye on the Site netcast currently includes about 50% VF News and 50% DLR News (Schedule), I'm thinking of going 25%/75%, respectively, or some other proportion in that general direction. We'll see what we can get.
