VF Staff Positions Open

Visions Fantastic currently has two staff positions that need to be filled and we welcome the interest of our VF member community.

The following positions, are, obviously, unpaid positions. As a staffer you will be expected to meet certain criteria and produce material. These materials are the properties of Visions Fantastic. (For instance, you can't use things you've created as a staffer on VF on your own personal blog, website, etc). If we cannot find an appropriate person to fill the position, the position will remain open.

Couple of rules regarding staff positions:

1. Staffers must be 18 years of age or older and must be able to furnish their own transportation when needed (VF special events, etc).

2. Staffers must be a member of Visions Fantastic in good standing for at least one year and must have at least 200 posts.

3. Staffers must adhere to codes of conduct as a VF staff member and act appropriately at VF events and elsewhere online when representing VF.

The two positions currently open include:

1. Moderator: As a Mod, you will enforce the VF guidelines when neccessary and assist VF members with issues they may be having with the website/radio, etc. Mods must be 18 years of age and must be a very active member in the VF community. Mods must be able to devote a number of hours per week to website duties. Good communication skills are very important.

To apply: Send a PM to Chris stating your past experiences as a Mod, or as a VF member and give examples of how you've been helpful in the past.

2. Website Photographer (No, DaddyB isn't going anywhere), but we need a photographer who can visit the park on a regular basis (2-3 times per month) to take photos, get up-to-date information about the Resort, and assist in VF special events. Photos will be featured in our weekly Disneyland Resort Update. An annual pass (preferably Deluxe or Premium), good photographic skills and good communication skills are required.

Note: Being a staff member does not neccessarily bar you from VF events like the Scavenger Hunt or DCA Dash.

To apply: Send a PM to Chris with examples of your photography (Note, we are not looking for "desktop quality" photos, but simple snapshots that showcase skills in exposure, composition and focus.).

We look forward to filling these positions soon and welcoming two new staffers!

You don't need to be living in California to apply for the Mod position. Though it would be nice to be able to make it to the park for the events held in March and September. :)

I am not sure if I am considered "very active" on the site. Wouldn't mind being a mod...just need to be taught how to do it.
