VF Radio Library

Okay, has the Radio library been restored to the point that you can, or are the six hundred song or so that are MIA gone for good? Among them are the Dapper Dan songs, the Eureka Compilation (the only one I've found, period, and I've scoured the internet for it), and songs from 'Meet the Robinsons', as well as many park recordings from decades ago (one was of park hours in I think 1973-75, or it was a compilation of recordings). Are these gone for good or simply hiding somewhere, waiting to be put back up?

We are still restoring it to its correct amount. We hope it have it back to full capacity in less than a month.

Do you guys need help restoring any of the tracks or will that be against the website rules? You guys probably had all the files backed-up anyway. I just thought that I would try and help if needed.

Thanks for the offers of help. We have the material, but its the uploading and labeling/organizing of the tracks that is time consuming.

I had removed several audio files (not all of those that disappeared, though) -- namely the movie soundtrack files, with the intention of mass editing the tag information on my local system, then re-uploading the corrected titles (eg: the Artist would actually be the movie name, rather than a number or track name). Unfortunately, we ran into a few delays earlier this week, and compounding this, my DSL connection recently cut out, and I'm stuck with 28.8K Dial-Up until the end of the month (the time it will take for a new DSL modem to arrive).

I do have about 100-200 or so of the "missing" audio -- which is simply deleted audio that hasn't yet had a chance to be re-uploaded, and likely will not until my higher-speed connection comes back.

i'm just dying to know where / how you get your hands on these things. specifically the music from the park itself. listening to the ride music helps my withdrawals until i can return (in 68 days!).

Most of the stuff we have is not the actual music from in the park but rather the version it was based off of (e.g. in DCA most of those songs are not Disney songs) The rest can usually be found on CDs or on older harder to find LPs

Uh, I requested a song in the daemon, and when it came up to play, it just skipped it and went on the the next one. The title is "Pizzeria Bella Notte - 'Funicul� Funicul�' ". Any clue why that is?

Some of the files are corrupted and have zero run times. Contact Ca Screamin Dude the "Report Abuse" link so we can correct the problem (if we can).

Neo and I have recently done some work on the VF Radio database. We have removed some corrupt files, and are in the process of adding durations to others (those that show up as 0:00).

If you see a specific song file that is corrupt or otherwise causing problems, please post to this topic.
